There are three types of drinkers.
One is the alcohol addict whose blood alcohol content, if it falls too low, can cause discomfort worse than death;
another uses alcohol as an emotional catalyst, using the mood and atmosphere to release repressed feelings;
and then there are those who never get drunk regardless of how much they drink. To them, drinking is not even a pastime, but an action through which they savor other things;
"An influential historical figure once said, 'Life is like wine; the initial taste is full of stimulation, and after people drink, they laugh, cry, rage... but eventually it all cools down. If one wants to stay perpetually drunk on life, they must continually seek out stronger wines.'"
The highest authority in Alfheim swirled his glass, the amber liquid spilling out its century-aged fragrance. With the fluid motion of his fingers, the circling wine glinted like flowing gold under the light.
