"Dejir, that guy, did quite well after all," said Orgulous as he looked up to the luminous village.
Sarcastic voices resounded from behind him.
"Rarely do I agree with you, but it feels more disgusting than I imagined," one of them said.
Orgulous had only spoken half a word of abuse when he abruptly shrugged his shoulders and turned his face with a bitter smile.
"Don't put it so harshly. The top priority right now is to eliminate the target and witnesses. It's a bit regrettable to have the credit stolen, but to also eradicate those who are aware of our intentions and show hostility, now that is an achievement."
"Achievements? Are you talking about achievements?" Jelas smirked viciously as he laughed.
Indeed, achievements were attractive to him, especially those significant enough to demonstrate his superior qualifications over Orgulous, and to lead the Seven Sins—a temptation Jelas couldn't resist.
But was eliminating the Saintess's party really an achievement?
