"Ah, going to be reckless again?"
The three-head-tall Li Lin, who had somehow settled on his shoulder, shrugged and put on an eager expression.
"It's not being reckless."
Roland responded with steadiness.
The opponent was well-prepared, as could be seen from their choice to use self-destruction as a tactic, but there were still opportunities to exploit.
"I think they probably pre-embedded the compressed spell patterns in the caster's realm of consciousness; upon activation, they decompress and execute simultaneously. If you track the path in reverse, you could theoretically find the core operational part of the spell pattern, or in other words, whose brain it is stored in. If the central core is destroyed, even a strategic-level spell will dissipate like smoke and clouds."
