Kaspar was facing a cup of coffee trying to muster some courage.
Perhaps it was a racial issue, but his tongue never quite got used to hot beverages like coffee or tea. Regardless of the weather, he usually just drank cold water. When undercover in human society, and to meet work requirements, he would only forcedly drink hot beverages occasionally.
He was currently in the very heart of Albion, where some pretense was necessary, but since he had holed up in this secret lair without a need to venture out, there was no need to discomfort himself.
Self-discipline.
Kaspar believed only those who had self-discipline could achieve great things. Those who couldn't control themselves were unfit for success. Even within his own nest, he had to remain alert and not give away any signs of his true self.
After a sip of coffee, and forcing himself not to stick out his tongue, Kaspar stared intently at the operators manipulating the Enigma machine, his face stern.
