Minerva's mouth fell open, but her hollow and weak vocal cords couldn't vibrate to form the question bubbling from her heart. She gazed at the sky in dumbfounded awe. All sorts of vibrant colours abruptly bloomed in the sky, creating a magnificent spectacle. But that was not a scene that should exist in the human world, even magic couldn't recreate it. Instead of feeling moved, her heart was filled with overpowering fear.
"What did you say? Speak up, I can't hear...!!"
The Spider hollered into the microphone, ambient static noise filled the microphone due to strong electromagnetic interference. The emergency warning sent from the Axis radiation couldn't bypass this invisible wall, and the Spider had to stick the receiver almost into her ear to hear what the others were saying.
