Several sail-like triangles floated on the surface of the water, gradually expanding into mouse-gray ellipses.
At first glance, it seemed like shark fins, but the small holes at the top and the round, adorable contours indicated that they were not the same species as oceanic assassins, and this underground sewer was not a place frequented by sharks.
"Finally, you're here. Thank you for your hard work."
The girl standing on the makeshift dock waved her hand. The elliptical forms swam closer, flipped over, waved their fin-like forelimbs in response, and then flipped back and lifted their faces out of the water.
Streamlined, smooth heads, one eye on each side, and long, slender mouths opened and closed, making "giggly, cackly" sounds.
These were dolphins.
Spider calmly took a notebook out of the cleavage between her ample breasts, sat down, and nodded to the dolphins.
"Giggly cackle giggle cackle cackle."
