The sky was endlessly blue.
In the vast realm of the sky, there was hardly a cloud in sight, and only by using a telescope or a far-sight magic spell, one could occasionally spot clusters of little white clouds, like roadside flowers.
The boundless blue dome and the desert sky seemed remarkably similar, seducing away our usual senses of distance, direction, and color that were used to define our surroundings. As such, they stirred an urge to break free from physical confines and gravity, to soar into the heavens, even if it meant dissolving into the sky and falling from the towering landscapes into the ground below.
