24 hours have passed since the explosion in Peppinio, and declarations of severed diplomatic ties and declarations of war have been spread throughout the streets and alleyways. However, there is not a hint of the scent of war on the streets of Lutèce. Pedestrians walk with a relaxed and satisfied demeanor. Elegant women, adorned with ornate clothing, linger in front of window displays filled with high-end dresses, jewelry and makeup, while groups of playful children chase each other around in merriment.
The only semblance of war comes from the hoarse voices of "patriotic zealots" shouting slogans and speeches, accompanied by the background music of the "Warship March" and "Sword Drawn Brigade" musical pieces.
It almost seems like this state of war does not exist, resembling an idyllic paradise.
