Amid the shrill and drawn-out sound of a steam whistle, the flame system that had been heating the boiler halted. High-pressure white steam started to slowly unfurl from the chimney. Shrouded in a white fog, a loaf-shaped train carrying an uproar of passengers slowly pulled up to the platform of the Aosai Railway Station. Finally, it slid to a halt exactly one body-length in front of the flag-waving train dispatcher. The dispatcher unemotionally opened his pocket watch, checking the difference to the second between the train's scheduled arrival time and its actual arrival time.
