"Impressive... even more organized than the Tsar's guards."
Watching the elves who quickly jumped off the wagons and organized themselves into neat queues at the sound of commands and whistles, Kaspar forgot about the shame and despair brought about by donning women's clothes. All his attention was focused on the several squads forming before him.
Having witnessed the disorderly manner of the Bear Clan and the Wolf Clan armies, it was very easy for this hybrid to compare them with the disciplined Elf Army.
On one hand, you have a group of brigands who relish acts of robbery, rape, murder, and arson.
On the other hand, you have a disciplined force where every elf soldier is well-aware of their assigned task and coordinates with their comrades efficiently. Their orderliness exudes a sense of capable efficiency from top to bottom.
They never saw the sharp-eared elves fight, but at least such an army makes Kaspar and Nona feel safe and not overly concerned about racial issues.
