Calling upon his experiences of surviving in the wilderness, where he learned to observe his surroundings to prevent or counter possible attacks, Roland turned his brain over, marinating an escape plan as he scrutinized the structure of the buildings and the placement of the people.
After brief glances, Roland gave up such an endeavor, realizing that his inexperienced self understood from hasty observations that this facility that held and imprisoned the "Special Goods," functioning much like a prison, would never allow a child to leave easily. The chances of escaping were so low that it brought despair.
