Mana circulating throughout the world, like wind or water flow, is a natural phenomenon. Unless in a harsh region like Niflheim where the Mana is extremely scarce, sensing the source of magic anywhere wouldn't be strange at all.
But is there a sight where, at first glance, the Mana seems to flow normally, but upon closer inspection, you would notice it forming a large and intricate circuit? Moreover, would this unique location be in an unobtrusive, remote village?
Considering the suspicious loiterers outside the camp the previous night, Li Lin took a keen interest in this calm little village and its inhabitants. He paid particular attention to the gathering place of the Mana Circuit – the inn, which served as a central processor. The innkeepers, the Darks, were the main focus of his attention.
