The teacup and saucer made a crisp sound as they collided. Nidhogg gathered the fine teaware and handed it to the attendant before taking a black, frosted leather folder under his arm and stealthily returned to the side of the leather sofa.
Outside the huge observation window, Muspelheim was gradually fading into the distance. Nidhogg didn't look towards the much-desired Dragon Clan base as his eyes were fixated straight ahead.
Above was an endless blue sky, at his feet, a carpet of clouds, and below was an ocean shimmering with a dazzling blue glow. The blue, white, and green colors intertwined, depicting the border of the world in the far distance—a magnificent scene intertwining with the silhouette before him, making it clear the meaning of bearing the weight of the entire world. In comparison, Muspelheim seemed as insignificant as a roadside pebble and wasn't worth a second glance.
