Saturday is a holiday — this common knowledge doesn't apply to the students of the National Magic Academy.
Unlike children of common folk who are busy helping with farming or working to supplement their family income, who can only attend public schools open on weekends to learn some arithmetic and basic reading and writing, the curriculum for the young nobility is full. They can only relax and rest on Sundays, and all other days are learning days, with courses covering advanced magic, social dance, etiquette standards, poetry writing, magical beast riding, and etcetera.
