Almost all political factions had reached a consensus, unanimously supporting the war. The platform was packed with crowds waving the tricolor flag in farewell, and benevolent ladies and various groups were presenting gifts to soldiers on the train, with the passionate speeches of the delegations almost drowning out the performances of the military band.
Through the glass of the waiting room, Roland watched the train slowly leave the platform. Dressed in brand new black uniforms, waving handkerchiefs, or wearing hats adorned with silver skull badges, the Titans soldiers gradually disappeared from view as the train accelerated.
The soldiers of this new army had no armor, and the horses they used were mostly strong and good at carrying loads. This fact had been ridiculed by the Ministry of the Army, and there were even many complaints among the public.
"After all, they are just going to the front line to do a round, do some drilling, and let the Castilians laugh them to death."
