The shouted intelligence of the battlefield situation triggered the pre-prepared defense spells against airborne enemies. Numerous defensive barriers, well taller than a man, appeared along the direct aerial path of the five uninvited guests to Bodoe Village. Other spells revealed their operation in the sky. A complex defensive system, most troublesome for flying creatures, eagerly awaited its intimate contact with the guests.
"Is it a floating flight spell? Or that explosive magic from before?"
Stripping away the pre-battle tension and excitement of "they're finally here" from his mind, Rinaldo turned to his wife to ask.
"All five are reactions from flight spells, but... the speed… wait, one doesn't have a mana reaction…"
