As dawn broke, and the men returned from outside, Bodoe Village fell into a busy state as Li Lin and the elves expected.
It was busy, but not chaotic.
In normal circumstances, when a village hears that an army is on the way to target them, the terrified villagers would pack their belongings at an unusually rapid pace, stuffing as many necessities into their carts as possible before struggling with congested roads among other issues... Yet by the time they're almost ready to leave, the army or bandits would have already arrived, forcing the villagers to flee the messy village like ants scattering from a disturbed anthill.
The adult villagers of Bodoe, however, were preparing for combat in an orderly manner, showing a level of preparedness unlike that of traditional villages.
