One might call it underhanded, or one could say it was a display of intelligence and teamwork. Regardless, the Chimeras had indeed chosen a highly effective tactic. Even in the worst-case scenario of losing a couple of their numbers, the remaining Chimeras were still able to thrust their blades into Gloria's body with certainty.
It was a very rational choice, one that even the most battle-hardened veterans might not have make better than these beasts. To some extent, it served as proof of the High-Speed Close Combat Chimeras' success as a Bio-Organic Weapon.
"They really know how to pick their battles, don't they? No, should I say they've been modified successfully…"
The Golden Bear Dominator extended its arms straight ahead, releasing a barrage of gunfire. A dense rain of bullets was fired directly at the two Chimeras charging from the front, completely ignoring threats approaching from other directions.
