The upper echelons of the Charlemagne Royal Army might have been a bit crazy, their thinking somewhat rigid, and sometimes displayed various idiotic tendencies, but they were certainly not stupid. Especially after suffering several serious setbacks and paying a hefty price in tuition, they made a qualitative leap in their recognition of the importance of logistics and supply. Coupled with the national enthusiasm for supporting the war, the Royal Army took the opportunity to recruit a large number of laborers en masse, attempting to use the passionate and cheap labor force to integrate and expand their railway system, fully exploiting the advantages of fighting on home soil, and strictly preventing a repeat of the tragic scenes of widespread starvation as seen in the battle of Guadalcanal.
The Royal Army's intentions were noble, and the passion and effort they put into action were touching, but the results of their efforts... were simply speechless.
