It was only to be expected that from the start, Alfheim never intended to break through the Maginot Line to capture Lutèce.
From a strength perspective, the Wehrmacht had the capability to crush that paper-thin defense line and march on Lutèce at any moment. The reason this had not been done was entirely focused on post-war handling. After all, with Charlemagne having set an example by being embroiled in a quagmire of security wars and making enemies on all fronts, Alfheim naturally made every effort to avoid a similar predicament. Therefore, the war against Charlemagne could only be a war of annihilation. Crushing or striking wars would not achieve the ultimate goal, and the "Yellow Plan" was a strategic plan formulated with this starting point.
