Even if they were given a complete audio-visual broadcasting system, it would be of no use.
How to gather information, how to compile it, how to edit out content disadvantageous to one's own side, how to send and receive information at the fastest speed, how to present it in a way that maximizes attention, how to keep the audience's sustained interest, how to make people not doubt the subliminal messages within the information... For the Church, these were entirely unimaginable tasks. They could only counter this battle of information, for which they had no chance of winning, with their familiar, outdated, and sluggish intelligence system, until they were utterly devastated.
This was a one-sided thrashing without any suspense. No matter what they did, the outcome was predestined.
