The youth nodded.
"But, what of it?"

Looking down from on high, the loquacious Agent fell silent, eyes intently fixed on the unyielding violet pupils.
"Betrayed by others, used by others. So you fill with resentment and despair, curling up in the darkness? If that's all there is, how could you possibly change the world?"
The face of the youth looking up at the Agent was sincere, gentle, and also very determined.
"Reality is cruel and weighty. Everyone is just an ordinary mortal, ordinary, lowly, tainted humanity. They deceive, they betray, they hurt, they use others—that's reality. But does that mean the world must necessarily be a place of darkness, beyond redemption?"
The world is not made up of darkness alone, and human beings and their actions are not composed solely of "malice".
