"...So, are you implying that your regent intends to lend us a hand?"
As the first responsible person on the scene and a member of the royal family, it was her duty to negotiate with the two uninvited guests, while also refraining from showing any distaste. At least, she couldn't be as explicit about it as Vinea.
Charlemagne had yet to officially declare war on Alfheim; technically, treating the other party as an enemy state or a rebellious force was a matter for after a declaration of war. Until then, the two uninvited and unwelcome guests could only be considered illegal entrants and trespassers into a private residence—a crime for which they could be arrested, prosecuted, and deported, that is, if someone could arrest two dragons.
