From Salbadu to Charlemagne, there are roughly three directions: the western nautical route from Biscay Bay to Lamangsh Strait, the overland route traversing national borders over the Pyrenees Mountains, and the eastern nautical route through the Great Green Sea to the port of Charlemagne in the southwest.

Among these three routes, although there are trains on the land route that are much faster than in the past, the rail network, ordinary roads, and customs are all under the control of the consortium. The waterway of the eastern route is relatively narrow, and with both the fleets of Albion and Charlemagne patrolling that area, it is equally difficult to break through. The western nautical route is not only threatened by inspections from the Charlemagne Navy but the destination, Tulon Harbor, is also a military port with tight security. Above, there exists the treacherous "Mist Reef Airspace," where airships often meet with accidents and go missing.
