"You needn't worry about that,"
Minerva, who was standing by, interjected:
"A lord who abandons his subjects and flees alone, the Titans who behaved disgracefully before and during the incident—someone must pay for their stupidity. If a bit of compensation money can settle things, I believe they would be quite willing to pay."
Although there were many aspects of her statement that warranted discussion, the argument itself had no fault, leaving little for others to refute.
"Then it's settled."
Roland nodded with a smile in response, and Minerva, after a moment of thought, asked:
"By the way, why didn't you reveal your identity just now? Surely the identity of Governor would have a much more deterrent effect than some fabricated order, and it would be more advantageous for commanding the retreat."
"If I had really said I was the Governor, the scene would likely have become even more chaotic."
