Near the Cherrylife village, Jake appeared dressed as a nobleman. He had decreased his height to 5'9" and hid his horns, but didn't change his appearance. Jake looked like a high-class young man who wasn't supposed to be in this place.
Vin and Diana wanted to accompany him, but he rejected them. Jake didn't need protection at the moment as he would do nothing high-key.
"Let's go," he said to Erin who was standing there with a smile.
She was wearing a dark cape and rolling her bangs with her forefinger, looking at her master with an obsessed gaze.
"Mn," Erin replied and turned around.
A bloody mist enveloped her body, and she ran ahead as a red beam of light. Jake shot forward at his top speed using [Phantom Steps].
In this month, other than fucking around, managing his dungeon and monsters, Jake was also practicing his skills. He had leveled up Phantom Steps two times.

Although they had various questions in their minds, the boys didn't go to check on the strangers. Instead, they kept looking while chatting as the handsome man and the hooded woman entered the carriage.
Jake knew about them but he didn't care. He sat on the coachman's seat and pulled the reins, snapping them beside the horses' ears. Hearing the crisp sound, the trained horses ran ahead.
Inside the passenger cabin, Erin sat gracefully on the front quarter. After they left the vicinity of the village, Jake's appearance gradually changed and he became an old white-haired man instead.
Still wearing luxurious clothes, he looked like the coachman of a wealthy family.
"Master, I have looked into the background of Baron Leo. He is a middle-aged man with two wives and a single boy. As you had told me, I found he governs the Rustfall town and lives there.
He has a squad of 20 unranked squires, 5 First Circle Knights and one 2nd Circle Knight commander. The baron himself is nothing. But he has vast land and his influence among the surrounding nobles is high, second only to Viscount Werbner," Erin reported and Jake carefully nodded.
"Hmm, he will be our first target," Jake said in a deep voice as the carriage went past a tall cherry tree.
Erin had investigated the nobles by infiltrating into the human cities. Right now, Jake had two nobles as his target. Viscountess Aella and Baron Leo.
The former was an influential woman who had ties with the count of this province while the latter was mad rich. Once he corrupted them, he could slowly exert his influence in the Karsuda province.
He was doing all this to take over the entire kingdom one day.

After Leo sat, he tried starting a conversation.
"What might be your purpose?" He asked.

"Take out those knights, but don't kill them."

"Did I do good, master?" Erin sat on his lap and hugged his chest. Jake could feel her body vibrating.
He retracted his [Fear Aura] and stood up. Jake patted Erin who happily smiled, showing her dangerous fangs.
On the floor, the baron's wife gasped loudly as if she had finally been allowed to breathe.
"W-Who… a-are you p-people?" Jane asked but both Jake and Erin ignored her. After all, she was just an insect.
He went past her and looked through the window. Turning around, Jake ordered the baron.
"Bring your head knight here."
He planned to corrupt that man as well. Individually, Leo was useless. However, his command over the knights and his status as a noble was worth noting.
Still, if the baron gave out questionable orders, his 2nd Circle Knight would rebel. To take out that possibility, Jake planned to corrupt the head knight as well.

An hour later, he and Erin were inside the mansion's basement. The baron was before a large iron-plated door, inserting a three-inch long key in the keyhole.

Boom! Some dust appeared. When it settled down, Jake and Erin's irises reflected the shine of metals.

There was a vast forest in that direction as well. Jake hadn't explored the area behind. He'd only gone to the front which had villages ahead. Near the volcanic mountain, there had to be some monsters living.
"We heard a dungeon had spawned here… So we c-came to check," said the gnome Jake was holding.
"I see, so more of you live there?" Jake put pressure on the gnome's head.
"Yes, yes!" The little man panicked.
"Lead me there," Jake put him on the ground and said.
As the gnomes began walking, Jake informed Lena that he would be going outside for a while using [Mana Communication]. He then hovered in the air and flew behind the five gnomes who were running quickly.
The trees on this side of the forest were not red. They were taller and bigger. Jake looked at the path ahead.
After half an hour, they arrived at the base of the hill where the valley ended. Jake could see small round structures made up of stones and thatchets.
A gnome came outside and suddenly exclaimed seeing the others running over. A tall demon was chasing them or so the female gnome thought.
She ran inside to inform others, but Jake increased his flying speed and came before her hut in a flash. Before she went underground, he used [Demonic Grasp] and caught her.
"All of you come out," he ordered, using all of his strength.
His voice thundered through the underground tunnels they lived in. One by one, the gnomes came out with their mechanical weapons which looked crude in Jake's opinion.
There was a chieftain among these gnomes who came forward. He immediately recognized the rank of the demon hovering above and crouched in submission.
It was also because Jake had equipped his title "Demon Viscount."
The others followed their leader. Jake only had to exert pressure from his mana core to let them know he could easily kill them.
"Pack your things."
An hour later, he brought all the gnomes with him. Jake didn't understand how Erin missed a tribe living so near to his dungeon. He had made her scout the surrounding area more than thrice already.
It could be because they always lived underground and hardly came out.

The woman was of medium height. Wearing a dark robe did not hide her symmetrical, almost perfect proportions.
Any man would turn his head more than twice to appreciate her beauty and curves. This woman liked her body and the attention she gained from it.

"Pass my orders to gather the undead soldiers." Countess Minerva ordered her Death Knight.

Minerva walked ahead and her summons followed. An army of undead soldiers were outside, staying silent as the rain poured on their rotting bodies and skeletons.
Two thousand strong undead. Most were unranked. Yet more than 300 of them were 1st Circle undead. Sixty-seven at the 2nd Circle and twelve at the Third Circle. Death Knights, Undead Warriors, Skeleton Mages… All controlled by an elite 4th Circle Necromancer.
This was a fearsome army as strong as ten thousand humans. And Minerva was going to create a storm in the Karsuda province and the whole of Grimbow kingdom with it.
She had been preparing for this day for 5 years. And only now she learned the elves had hid their treasure right here in Karsuda.
Someone among the nobles had it.
