Hearing Nami's words, Conis laughed gently, her warmth towards the Straw Hats visibly growing. She then gracefully took the mysterious fruit from Luffy's hands, introducing it to the crew. "This is a Conache from Angel Island in the Kingdom of God. Its shell is as hard as iron."

As she explained, Conis produced a small knife and deftly pointed it at a tiny dot at the top of the Conache. "It's not something you can open with your teeth. You need to insert a knife here and pry it open." Skillfully, she made a small incision in the fruit and handed it back to Luffy, now with a straw poking out of the opening.

Luffy, undeterred by his recent dental mishap, eagerly took the fruit and started to drink. "Wow, thank you so much!" he exclaimed, his voice bubbling with joy as he tasted the contents. "Ah! It's super delicious!!" he declared, his enthusiasm infectious.

Conis watched with amusement, a soft chuckle escaping her lips. Something about these newcomers seemed different from the other Blue Sea visitors she had encountered before. Their unique charm and genuine expressions made them stand out, and Conis found herself enjoying their company more with each passing moment.

At that moment, Zoro noticed a figure moving above the sea clouds not too far from where they were. Pointing in that direction, he alerted everyone: "Hey, looks like there's something coming from over the sea."

Conis quickly turned to look where Zoro was pointing and her face lit up with recognition and excitement. "Ah, that's my father!" she exclaimed.

The figure in the distance seemed to notice Conis too. He waved energetically and called out, "Conis, Hasso!"

Conis waved back, her voice filled with warmth, "Well, Father, Hasso!"

Even Luffy found the exchange of 'hasso' a bit curious and tilted his head, puzzled by the repeated phrase.

As Conis's father approached closer to the shore, Nami noticed something unusual about the craft he was piloting and asked curiously, "Conis, what kind of boat is your father on?"

Conis glanced over and realized what had caught Nami's interest. "Oh, do you mean the Waver?" she clarified.

Nami's eyes widened as she connected the dots, remembering the reference from Norland's logbook. "Is that the Waver mentioned there?"

By now, Conis's father had nearly reached them. "Ah, sorry, I'm going to stop," he called out, but his actions didn't match his words. Without slowing down, he zoomed past everyone on the beach, heading straight for a tree at a breakneck speed.

Boom!

The inevitable crash came as he collided with the tree, which steadfastly held its ground. Conis's father slowly slid down the trunk, defeated, while the Waver under him sputtered a few last groans before falling silent.

Conis's father, who sported a bushy beard, was dressed similarly to Conis. The moment he got up from his unintended landing, he glanced at her and asked with a hint of curiosity, "Are these your friends, Conis?"

Conis nodded affirmatively and took the opportunity to introduce her new acquaintances. "Yes, father, they've just arrived from the Blue Sea."

Her father, Pagaya, looked slightly taken aback by this news, then quickly gathered himself and said with genuine concern, "Oh? There must be a lot of things you don't understand then. Welcome to Skypiea, I'm really sorry for the confusion."

When Pagaya offered his apology, Usopp quickly waved his hand dismissively, "Oh, no, no, you're being too polite."

But Pagaya continued, almost habitually, "Sorry, my name is Pagaya. Sorry again!"

Usopp, a bit overwhelmed by the repeated apologies, tried to ease the tension, "Ah, no, really, it's us who should be embarrassed."

As this odd exchange of apologies continued, everyone in the Straw Hats began to realize that Pagaya had a peculiar tendency to apologize frequently. Eager to steer the conversation away from endless apologies, they tactfully changed the subject.

Pagaya seemed to catch on and shifted gears himself. He reached into the basket on his back, pulling out a fish. "Oh, yes, I was fishing just now and caught quite a bounty of delicious fish."

Holding up a peculiar-looking fish, he introduced it with enthusiasm, "For instance, this here is a sky fish."

Pagaya, brimming with hospitality, made an inviting gesture and exclaimed, "Why don't you all come to our home as guests? I'd love to treat everyone to some special dishes from Sky Island!"

Luffy, ever eager for new food experiences, was the first to react with unbridled enthusiasm. "Really? Awesome!!" he cheered, his eyes lighting up at the prospect of a feast.

Sanji, always keen to learn new culinary tricks and share his own cooking skills, quickly joined in, offering his help to Pagaya. "If you're cooking, I'd love to assist," he said with a respectful nod.

Pagaya laughed heartily, clearly pleased by the camaraderie. "Absolutely, the more, the merrier, hahaha!" He seemed unusually open and friendly, perhaps because it was rare for him to meet such warm-hearted guests.

Meanwhile, Conis noticed Nami crouched near the Waver, inspecting it with keen interest. Turning to her, she asked, "Is everything okay?"

Nami looked up, slightly startled, then smiled. "Oh, yes! I'm just really curious about this Waver."

Conis warmly offered, "I can explain how the Waver works while my dad prepares the food."

Nami's eyes sparkled with curiosity, and she quickly agreed, nodding enthusiastically.

Pagaya then turned to the other members of the Straw Hats, extending his invitation to them as well. "What about the rest of you? Would you like to join us too?"

Seeing everyone's positive response, Bai Ye smiled and encouraged the group, "Let's all go together." He added, with a playful tone, "After all, our mission can wait for a bit."

-----

In the Kingdom of God on Upper Yard, an island of solid earth unlike the rest of Skypiea, a man was desperately sprinting toward the shore. His clothes were tattered, and his face streaked with dirt from his frantic escape. Close on his heels was a giant hunting dog, as tall as a man, snapping aggressively at his heels. Even closer behind was one of the island's priests, a servant of God, who sneered menacingly, "Hehe, do you really think you can escape?"

Just as the hunting dog was about to catch him, the man turned abruptly, his teeth clenched in determination. With a powerful leap, he delivered a fierce kick to the hound, sending it reeling backward. Energized by desperation, he then surged toward the shore with renewed vigor.

He wasn't just fleeing the beast but something far more terrifying. His true fear was not of the hound but of divine retribution itself.

Suddenly, the sky roared ominously. A massive thunderbolt streaked down, striking him squarely. The impact was explosive, sending a shower of earth flying as it carved a deep crater in the landscape of Upper Yard.

The priest watched the spectacle unfold with a cold smirk, his expectations grimly satisfied. "Foolish man, thinking he could escape the judgment of God," he muttered disdainfully.

In this realm ruled by a so-called deity, no one could outrun divine punishment.
