When the light disappeared Liam saw something that shocked him.
A dragon ! No,not just a dragon. A baby dragon !
The baby dragon looks at Liam confused. As if wondering what it is doing here.
The baby dragon looks at Liam with its big round eyes. It looks like every single inch of its body was made to make a person think of the word cute.
The baby dragon slowly but steadily started crawling towards Liam. As if it knew that Liam was the one who summoned it.
As the baby dragon got closer Liam started to feel a connection between himself and the dragon.
A magical bond. Liam felt like he was somehow connected to the dragon.
When the dragon got closer to him Liam, slowly started to move his hands forward. Thinking that if he moves to fast the baby dragon will get scared.
But, what the baby dragon did next shocked Liam.
The baby dragon looked up at him with innocent eyes and in a confused tone cooed
" Papa ? "
This sudden action made Liams heart swell with awe and warmth.
" Yes, im your papa " Liam said as he extended his hand and touched the baby dragons face.
The baby dragon nuzzled It's small head within his hands.
In this moment the connection between Liam and the baby dragon deepened.
On the other hand while all this was happening Liams parents were looking out of the window. Seeing all these events take place.
" I never imagined something like this could happen ! " Liam's father said absoloutely shocked.
" Me neither. I mean something like this is so rare. My first familiar was a demon knight and your'se was a spirit magician. How would we ever imagine for him to have something like a dragon ! " Liam's mom said also shocked.
The dragon Liam had summoned was a dragon black in colour. Eyes are similar to that of humans. Just bigger. Entire body covered in black scales. It had small little wings, still to small to carry it's own weight. It has cute little paws. Along with long black ears that seemed to stay close to it's body.
( Similar to toothless from ' How To Train Your Dragon ')
As the baby dragons scales glimmered in sunlight, Liam couldn't help but think of the stories, myths, folklores sorrounding dragons.
He couldn't ignore the the the stories, folktales and myths that portrayed dragons as intelligent creatures. Creatures that were guardians of hidden knowledge. Protectors of lost artifacts and perhaps the key to unraveling the mysteries this world holds.
Liam couldn't help but ponder what adventures lay on his path as he looked at the baby dragon.

Before this chapters ends I want to inform you guys, the readers of a couple of changes I have decided to make to the novels world.
First of all, I have removed the sharpshooter specialization because of the fact that it is too similar to the Ranger Specialization.
Also, now Liam is born 500 years after the end of the chaos period. Also now the chaos period is 3 Centuries long.
I made the time change so the existence of the myths and whatnot made sense.
I'll later post a auxiliary chapter detailing all the traits of the dragon.
