After some time, the party arrives at a small mining town at the bottom of a mountain. "Hey, why don't we stop here and get some rest and food?" Edward asks "Yeah! That's a great idea." Says anton hoping to get a warm bath. "Yea, I could really use a break as well." Says selene.
The group enters the town and doesn't immediately see anyone, looking around there are a few people on their porches, but it seems as though it was a ghost town. "Where is everyone?" said anton a small bit concerned.
Edward answered after looking at the mountain for a moment, "most likely in the mines if I had to guess." "let's try that place there." Selene says while pointing to a building nearby.
The building looked run-down, but not abandoned; It looked like there weren't enough people to take care of the building's exterior.
Approaching the front door, you could see a wood sign above the door that read Ashvale Inn. The Edward and anton tied up the horses and the three went inside.
Stepping inside the building, it was easy to tell that there had not been much business for quite some time.
The entrance was an open foyer with a bar at the back and tables in front of it encased by a large staircase that led to some rooms above. The tables all had chairs stacked upsides down on them even though it was the middle of the night where a bar would see the most activity.
At the bar, a young man was sitting and reading the newspaper.
Selene spoke first. "Hello?" The young man turned around quickly with shock in his eyes that someone had come in at all whether or not they were customers. "Hello? Who are you, can I help you with anything?" he said. "Yes, is this still an Inn, can we get some rooms?" selene said.
The young man said, "yes of course, How many?!"
Three if it isn't too much trouble."
"No trouble at all." The young man reached behind the bar and grabbed three keys and handed one to each.
"How much are the rooms?" asked edward.
"One silver coin each" spoke the young man.
Edward handed the young man his coins and asked if there was a bath. The man said yes, and the group went to bed so they could rest after their travels.
