Before breaking into the cave, Red Demon stood in front of a blank wall of rock. "Okay so you've done this before?" Brick asked Red Demon. "No. But I've been meaning to get in some training with Terra and Flame. Combining elements" he told him, spreading his legs apart creating a balanced stance. "Alright ready to try?" All Seeing asked in his mind. "Yes" he mumbled.
Brick stood with Smiling and Sun. "So your friend here can use two elements? I swear I saw him using Bolt back in the village? But he claims to use Flame and Terra as well?" He asked the two demons. Sun Demon shrugged, "I have seen him use Bolt. But this is a surprise to me as well" she stared eyeballing Smiling. He stood with arms crossed, "He possess all the elements" he said blankly like it was a normal thing. Brick squinted at him with confusion. "That's impossible only Primordials can wield multiple elements only after ascension into the Celestial Step. How can he hold all that power without exploding into dust?" He was adamant that he was being taken for a fool. He shook his head when he got no answer from Smiling. He stood watching Red Demon and waited.
Red Demon could feel himself drawing from both elements Flame and Terra. "Combining both to turn the rock into lava will be tedious. You must heat the rock to the point it begins to break down back into its natural state before it becomes solid. Then you use Mind to push it through to make a tunnel. Red nodded internally and focused. He felt his body heating up and the ground under feet did the same. Soon he was encased in high temperatures. The ground started to smoke and churn from the heat. He extended both palms flat on the rock wall. And the wall began to smoke. He pushed through the intense heat and focused. The rock started to smoke and soon began to melt back into lava as it cracked open. It began to sink into itself creating a crater that he then pushed an invisible force at pushing it inward. It was slow, but inch by inch it sank into itself. The lava started to flow down and drip. He then made a circular motion with his arms as the lava then started to round out the tunnel forming. The pushed his mind more as the tunnel extended inward getting deeper into the rock. Like an invisible drill the tunnel formed and he started walking down the tunnel extending it forward. After about thirty minutes he punched through a wall into an open tunnel. He keeled over and caught his breath. His body smoking and steaming he lifted his head and arched his back. His head felt like it would split open. He walked out of the tunnel comforted by the night's cool air. His body still steamed, he took a minute to collect himself. He turned to companions who all looked surprised and shocked with wide eyes.
All but Smiling looked surprised he even chuckled looking at Brick giving him a tap on the chest. "Seems you were wrong" he said as he walked towards the tunnel. Sun and Brick shared a look and then followed. "Nicely done Red" Smiling stated as he unsheathed his scythe and axe. "You good?" He asked him. Red nodded and unsheathed Havoc Flame from his belt. He then followed Smiling down the tunnel with Sun and Brick following behind. She was now dawning her demon mask and holding her spear with both hands. Brick had his sword out and was ready for battle.
They came out into a tunnel and Red Demon pushed out his chi senses to find any one. He then put a hand on the wall and tapped into the Shadow element to see the tunnels. He could feel four individuals coming down the an opposite tunnel and three more coming down there. With his senses he could tell they were not weaklings and each were stronger than the last. He could see a large group of them were in a central location that looked to be a big cavern. "Three coming behind us, four down that way after you take a right. A large group in a cavern in the heart of this place" he told his companions. "Let me hand the four up head" Smiling asked. Red nodded, "Sun you take the three behind us. Me and Brick will find our way to the central location you meet up with us there. Follow the screams" he told them. He then grabbed Brick by the arm and they sank into the shadows. The old veteran squirmed in surprise as he sank out into the blackness. "Seriously? How powerful is that guy?" She asked Smiling. He chuckled, "Trust me he'll surprise you every time. Let's move" he told her as he ran forward down the tunnel. She turned around and ran the opposite way.

Red Demon and Brick stepped out of the shadows. He pushed himself off Red Demon and vomited that travelling through shadows can be jarring at times. For some down right disorienting like Smiling the first time he went through it. Red Demon let him collect himself and was focused on the laughter of men that could be heard around the corner. He hugged the wall and inched closer to the entrance. He could see twenty men all sitting around a fire and were roasting what looked to be a big pig. One man was manning the spit and was rotating the pig as it roasted. "So what did you do then?" the cook asked, smiling. "Well isn't it obvious? I finished and let myself out" the men all started to laugh harder. "You dirty son of a bitch!" one said laughing uncontrollably. "Hey she didn't seem to notice nor care" he said laughing. "That makes it worse" another shouted before taking a swig of beer from a mug.
'Alright time for the fun to end boys' Red thought as he expanded his control of Flame and Shadow. The fire roasting the pig got bigger all the sudden, sending out a loud whoosh sound as it expanded and grew. The men all got to their feet in a panic from this and began to back away from the fire. "What the hell?" the cook yelled. The fire then dimmed to a small flame creating a large shadow in the room. 'It's all about the theatrics to really get them off guard' Red Demon looked at Brick, "Stay here till the other two come back" Brick looked at him in surprise. "What are you going to do?" Brick whispered. "Then out the herd" Red Demon then stepped into the shadows. He reappeared in the darkness above the cavern. He then dropped down and then surged lightning through his body and moved with a blink towards one of the men who grabbed them up with his shuriken on a string. He pulled the man in as he stuck to the wall creating rock around his feet. He held the man's mouth closed and held a blade to his neck. The others all rushed about looking for their companion. "What is happening? What the hell was that?!" One screamed, panicking.
"Listen close," Red Demon whispered to his prey. "Tell me which one leads this crew?" The man was sweating and shaking. He fought against Red Demon's grip but it was too tight. He had tremendous strength and he wasn't going anywhere. "I'm gonna remove my hand you scream the blade at your throat ends you in a second. So let's answer!" He loosened his hand. "The man you want is in a deeper cave inside our base. His name is Trent Dimms" he whispered back. Red nodded and then threw the man into a shadow. He reappeared outside the rock formation and was laying face first in the sand.
Red Demon scanned about and shrugged, "Welp everyone else here is expendable" he dropped down and began using the shadows to cut the men down one by one. The men screamed and begged before they were dispatched with a single slash. Red Demon kept working his way through the cavern till all were dead. He approached one of the men and began absorbing his chi. He did the same to five more leaving them husks. He felt Bedlam stir as he felt the need to kill someone else.
He then looked down a tunnel and saw a man running away. He engulfed the tunnel in darkness and cut the man down. Two more men showed up and they froze in fear. He waited for them to make a move but they didn't. They just froze at the spot staring at him. At which he then swallowed them in darkness and cut them down.
He drained their bodies and kept moving till he found a tunnel that led deeper in. He pushed open a door and found a man stuffing gold in a bag. He was a plump man, but tall. He was balding on top but had long hair on the sides of his head. It was black and he looked like a dirty man and he had two bags upon his back. "So you must be Trent?" Red Demon said, pointing his sword at the man. He was sweating profusely and then pissed himself.
