Chapter 101 - Words of Wisdom

Red Demon stared at his appearance in a mirror brushing his horns with his fingers. 'So much for passing off normal now. Not many demons travel about from the Fire Realm. I'll need to make myself some new clothes and a hood,' he went through the list of mythical beasts he hid away for later use in his ring. A few Flame using beasts, one Bolt, four Gust, and three Iron.

He put on a shirt and walked out into the sunshine. The sunlight hurt his eyes for a moment but he adjusted. He made his way to the woods. When he was alone he summoned the nameless Odachi. He channeled his chi through it and created a rune for Bedlam as he focused on drawing energy from that meridian. The blade began to glow red and mist began to form on it. The rune he put on was a symbol for devastation. He then held the sword with two hands and with a single swipe a flow of black energy with a crimson aura erupted from it cutting through the air. Carving into the ground a crescent cut.

He stood back seeing the scar across the ground being a mile long, "Finally. I am now a true demon. For what needs to be done cannot be done by a benevolent being" he whispered staring down at this newly charged soul weapon. "I should name this blade the Havoc Flame" All Seeing floated next to him. "Havoc Flame?" She asked with a puzzled tone.

"What's wrong with it?" He turned to look at her. "Nothing. Just feels cliche' don't you think? Doesn't have a thought behind it?" She held her hands up in surrender "It's your weapon name it what you want" she stared off into the woods at a Giant White Tiger watching from afar. "Seems you have an audience?" Red Demon turned and looked up at the White Tiger. "Hmmm…it hasn't attacked so it's not foolish? It has intelligence, and judging from the size. It's a celestial beast" All Seeing nodded.

Red Demon retracted the blade back to his soul core. He held his hands to his side and waited as the creature advanced slowly walking to him. "Don't see many demons around here?" The tiger stated. "That is a fair assumption. What surprises me is a powerful being like yourself hasn't killed me yet?" The tiger stared at him. "You're a guest of my mistress. She allows me here and species to guard her plane. She makes sure all guests are spoken for and I know who you are" the tiger walked around him sniffing him. "You're a demon? But also something else? A dragon?" The tiger then sat on his haunches. "I'm a dragon folk demon hybrid" the tiger tilted its head. "Hmmm. You seem troubled?"

The Red Demon sat upon the grass. "Seems strange to speak my troubles to a celestial beast?" The tiger yawned. "It's weird for me to listen to a human speak of their troubles. But here we are. Life is funny that way" the tiger smiled. "I don't even know your name?" Red Demon asked. "I am Li Lang the Ivory Tiger" he spoke with great confidence.

"Nice to meet you. I guess my issue is I have a long road ahead of me. And I am mentally preparing for it. I need to harness this new power and fast" Li Lang sat silently staring at him with a blank look. "Oh you expecting me to give you some words of advice on how to get stronger? You already know how. Everything that happens from here on out is unknown. You can never be ready for the unknown human. You live each day to struggle and keep struggling the next day after. Clear your mind and just refine what you already know. I have faith you'll grow into a ferocious beast. But if you have some sense of impatience then you'll run in place. You have accomplished so much at a fast rate. So refine those skills young man" with that the big tiger got up and walked back into the forest.

"Refine huh…seemed like good advice" he then got up and summoned the Havoc Blade and began to go through his regular routines.

Sister Spinner stared at four clothing attires with significant personal touches for each. She was staring at one that was red and white. "It'll need a hood," she whispered. She then waved a hand and the thread extended from the back and created a dangling hood.

She then walked over to a breast plate with red lines down the front of it. She set it down and walked over to her study and sat upon the couch. She lit a cigarette and stared at the fireplace. She then walked over to an orb and tapped it with her finger. It lit up, "Master" she said to the orb. A voice then sighed on the other end of the orb. "Where is my King Slayer!" The World asked. "Always a one track mind with you. How is my brother?" She asked with a more serious tone. "Imprisoned. He defied me by protecting you" Sister Spinner shook her head. "For once you should listen to us. We do what we do for you and the universe you created. Why can't you see that?" The World was silent as Sister sat there smoking her cigarette.

"Why didn't you come to me with all the information that would show trust? Which you clearly do not have towards me if you chose to not share all your visions?" Sister Spinner took a long drag. "Cause you're someone that wishes to control everything. Even if I gave you all the pieces you would have wanted to tweak it for your own benefit. This time you need to let us take the reins and help when needed. I'm asking you now and here to join me in this. Free Prometheus and stop the invasion plot" she sounded like she was pleading with her master to understand her position. She had access to the Tapestry of Time, a very vital tool in the universal machine. She hoped that the World would see this not as a threat, but opportunity.

"I'll think on it" the orb dimmed. She took one last drag from her cigarette and put it out on a marble ashtray upon her desk. 'Now we see what path they choose' she was lost in thought as her mind raced through all possibilities of the World either joining them, or hindering them.

Location: Tech Realm

Farrah and Samantha were sparring with wooden weapons. Farrah weilding a wooden bow staff and Samantha had a long sword. Samantha came at her sister with a slash that was blocked by Farrah's staff, "More power. Channel each attack with chi to increase its effectiveness. Again" she ordered pushing the sword off her staff. Samantha collected herself and then with a burst of energy slashed as the sword was glowing from her aura. The sword then shattered as it hit the staff, "You channeled too much or you didn't circulate it properly. You will be fighting other cultivators who will enhance their weapons. You just need to be the strongest and sharpest" Samantha sank to her butt and was sweating, "I need to catch my breath" she stated at her sister. "If this was a real battle no enemy would give you reprieve to catch your breath sister" Samantha looked defeated hearing this. "I know. I'm trying to be more like you sister. I just have more strengths intellectually over physical" Farrah shook her head. Farrah looked down and smiled, "That's why you have me. I am here to make you good at both. You need to practice more and build your stamina up. True power is being diplomatic and intelligent. You have that in spades, but if you take father's place what will words do to stop the knife from going into your back? You must be ready for any outcome and be ready to strike before it occurs" Samantha looked down at the floor.

"You have a better chance of being heir then me. And Corazon will be King before either of us. But we both know he isn't picking us anyway?" Samantha got to her feet picking up the broken sword. "You let me worry about Corazon, and you worry about getting stronger. Go cultivate before you do anything else" Farrah ordered. Her sister nodded and left the training room. Farrah was now alone and began to practice with her bow staff.

"Knew I would find you here" a voice said from behind her. She turned to see her brother leaning against a wall. A loud crunch came from him as he bit into an apple. "What do you want?" she asked with a cold tone. Corazon smiled, "Your advice back fired?" he told her. "Did it?" she said plainly. "And did yours do any better?" she retorted which caused his smile to waiver. He shook his head, "The guilds are in disarray. Some masters have gone missing. You advised him to commit illegal searches upon them" Farrah shook her head. "You make it sound like I made him do those things? I merely pointed out a strategy. You think too highly of your father. He listens to no one but himself" she sighed. "You will be a stupid king for not seeing all angles. You really think our father respects the guilds? These searches were excuses to put them back in line. You don't think he knew of them looking to dethrone him?" This seemed to cause Corazon to scowl.

"Why would you make enemies with the next king's sister?" He took another bite of an apple. "Keep up your childish dreams. Seems you have the crown all wrapped up? Still have to prove yourself to the World" she looked at him with cold eyes. Corazon started to laugh, "Who would they pick? You? Oh you think you would be king? Father wouldn't give the crown to a woman?" Corazon snickered, "Surely you give our sister false hope. You two are nothing but pawns to be married off for alliances. You keep on training here for nothing" he threw the apple core behind him. "Perhaps if you spent less time boozing it up and sleeping with whores over training you wouldn't need to boast your the king" this caused Corazon's eye to twitch. "What I do is my business. And I will be king! First act will marry you two bitches off!" He got close, staring her down. She showed no fear or apprehension. She stared back her eyes then started to glow white. "Careful brother. You shouldn't pull the tail of a tiger" the very aura she gave off seemed to be filled with bloodlust.

He could feel it in his chest and for once his instincts were screaming for him to move back. "You know you're a devious bitch? I'm not sure what game you're playing with our father? But I intend to find out. And when I do I'll mount your head on my wall along with that Sun Demon bastard!" He then walked past and hit her shoulder. "Have a good day princess" his voice was full of malice.

Farrah brushed her shoulder. Her grip tightened on the bow staff so hard it snapped in two. She then took a deep breath as she could feel the berserker side coming out. 'No need to unleash your secret just yet. I can't let them see me rattled. I must uphold the true mask I have on now' she then left the training grounds. She went to her quarters.

It was a lavish room with a central giant bed, a wardrobe, closet, and bathroom. She approached a radio and twisted the knob. It began to play music reminiscent of earthly music from the fifties. She took off her training robes and was approaching her wardrobe. She then moved some clothes on hangers to the side. She then pressed a button and revealed a secret compartment. It revealed a demon mask with one single horn, a garment of light armor, and a spear on a rack ring. Above the mask was a wakizashi. She then looked out her large window. 'The next target will be you brother' she then reached for the mask and then placed it on her face. Her glowing white eyes shining through the eye sockets.
