Red Demon absorbed the last of the chi in the temple and it was time to leave it behind. All Seeing was bubbling with excitement to leave the temple. "I cannot wait to get out of this stone prison! Man how much has the world changed?" She asked floating behind Red Demon. "Well I don't know how to answer that. How long have you been here?" He asked. She seemed to be puzzled by that question. "No idea. I stopped counting long ago when I hit a hundred" she stated shrugging her shoulders. "There some device you hide in? Or should I be worried about people seeing you floating behind me?" Red Demon asked.
She laughed at that before answering. "Oh the only one who can see me is you. I'm imprinted on your mind only you can perceive me" Red Demon sighed at this. "Great. So when we talk I'll look like I've lost my mind" he nodded at this letting that sink in. They reached the entrance and walked out to the same foggy atmosphere and dark landscape. "Wow this has not changed a bit.." All Seeing whispered. "Well that's reassuring" Red Demon answered in sarcasm. They began walking through the fog the silence was eerie and put Red Demon on high alert. He then flexed his mind using it sense any presences around him. He found one that was lurking around.
'Seems beast like?' He thought. 'What Mythical Beasts roam this realm? I don't know enough about this place besides being a place of spirits housed behind a wall?' He thought asking All Seeing. 'I don't know about spirits being housed but Spectral dogs, are the majority. But there are exceptions. Firebrand, Fog Beasts, and Wraiths. Focus on the chi core we can possibly see their appearance' Red Demon concentrated from his feet a ring of chi erupted across the ground expanding out. He sent more waves out and repeated the process till the figure had a form.
It looked like it had four legs, and was surrounded by a gaseous cloud coming from their bodies. "Seems to be surrounded by gas and has four legs. That's all I can make out?" All Seeing was deep in thought, 'Fog Beast then. Their tricky they can become immaterial at will. Turn into mist form helping them teleport around the fog' she warned. He manifested his soul weapon. "I'm looking to avoid a fight. Just direct me to Sister Spinner" he kept walking forward keeping his mind open. He sprinted through the fog and expanded his chi sense to find a way point through the fog. After an hour of running he came to stop as he stood bellow a massive titanic of a wall loomed over him. He was a mere ant standing in its pretense. The very wall was obsidian black with etchings of magic circles upon its face.
The very artwork extended along the wall that stretched wide for miles. "You mentioned that spirits are housed here. But that is a lie told to the masses and for good reason. That is the Onyx Wall; it is what keeps the land from the corrupted from crossing over to the rest of the realms. Corrupted are victims of the great Primordial villain the Puppeteer" All Seeing stated floating next to him breaking the silence. Red Demon seemed overwhelmed looking at this structure. "I thought the Puppeteer and his army was a mere story or legend. So your saying over this wall houses all corrupted monsters from the legends?" He said looking at her. She nodded at this solemnly, "He and his army were very real. Behind this wall is a field of miasma. Corrupted chi that the infected give off their bodies " she stared up at the wall. "Why aren't they destroyed?" Red Demon asked. "The wide known thing about this place is that this area behind this wall is a dimension of divine rest and punishment. Everyone believes when you die you come here. But like I said it's a lie told to everyone.'
'Long ago a being known as the Puppeteer rose to Primordial and was close to Cosmic status. Even rivaled the World only one to do so. He was very powerful along with given a Purpose. He represented an aspect of the Life Cycle; Death, The Soul, Violent Death, Peaceful Death, Life, Struggle all that coincide with the Life Cycle. He could even corrupt, empower, or curse a soul gaining control over that person. So legends say before he died he made this curse permanent to any who are corrupted. This curse drove people insane and violent. Mutating them completely to someone unknown like the dark side of that person coming forth. First signs of this happened drastically. Caused some realms to crumble. Till a realm specially made was created by the World the Ash Realm. Using all spiritualists of the realms they were able to create a spell that would lock those corrupted behind this wall. Along with every stone mason they could find to help build this giant wall" she explained speaking like she was retelling a story told to children. "That could all be legend, and the real reason is lost to time" she shrugged smirking. "So then I what are the inhabitants in this place?" He asked.
"They are the Wolf Pack led the Wolf King. They guard this place keeping the corrupted in and others out keeping a balance in this realm. Most the populace are allied with the Wolf Pack" she explained.
"Anyone that would like to venture over this wall would need the Wolf King's says so" he nodded at this explanation before standing still. Red Demon felt a presence of chi behind him. Then another and another. Soon he felt six beast chi's behind him. He slowly turned looking in the direction seeing red eyes. As the beings possessing those eyes came closer he could see hounds with skeletal armor over their smooth black bodies with a armored tail that was long like a whip with a barbed tip.
They had four eyes above their other eyes. Their canine like snouts protruded long rows of jagged teeth. They growled at Red Demon as he stood their staring at them his eyes glowing bright. 'Fresh meat!' He thought shooting forward. All Seeing looked taken aback at his thought. He jumped up dodging a tail whip as his stringed shuriken shot forward embedding into the hounds head. With a swing of his arm he send the hound flying sideways into another hound. He drove his sword into another killing it. The hound who was staggering to rise was cut down easily. Two remained they whipped their tails at him working together in tandem. He dodged and ducked till he finally grabbed one tail pulling them off the ground and slamming them to the ground. He then used the dazed hound as a weapon sending it at its partner. They crashed and were then skewered together.
He stepped back sighed with relief. He then extended his hand up expanding his own chi from his body so it covered a radius around him. Then he seeped his chi into the dead bodies before taking the chi from the core and flowing to the middle of his hand expanding it into a swirling vortex of red chi. The ball was medium sized before he absorbed it. He sighed as his hunger subsided that's when he noticed All Seeing staring at him with a queer expression, "I'm complicated…" he said truthfully. "Clearly…Walking Ruin indeed" she said nonchalant. "Let's head to the tower" he stared at her in annoyance as she floated past him.
He began to walk in the direction she pointed.

Prometheus walked up to the gate of the Emerald Palace. He was met by Bird Folk in white armor with green emblems of a green eagle armed with spears. Big Cat guards stood behind them in the same armor weary of the visitor. They had hands clasped upon their swords. Shadow Cat appeared at the gate in luxurious armor of white and black. He had two sabers sheathed upon his hips. He walked with arms behind his back. Guards parted for him as he came to great Prometheus. "I am Shadow Cat right hand to the Emerald King. My guards tell me you wish for an audience with the king? But you refuse to identify yourself?" Prometheus nodded at this. And crossed his arms behind him. He began to stare at the newly made walls and the soldiers walking the ramparts. "This has changed quite a bit? Seems you have made improvements to the palace. Your new king he a good king so far?" Prometheus asked. Shadow Cat scowled in confusion, "Yes?" He became wary at this question. "Good. Good, better than the last one I would assume? Well why don't we head inside my questions are directed towards him not his pawns" he glared at Shadow Cat. The two seemed to stand there in silence as they stared at one another. Prometheus broke the silence made a long sigh of annoyance, "Listen you and your men think I'm a threat. And your correct I very much am. None of you will survive if you attack me. That's not a boast of confidence it's a fact. So let's do this peacefully lead me to your king keep all your guards on me if that gives you some comfort. I only want information and the one I want that information from is your king. So what's gonna be Mr. Shadow Cat?" This seemed to take the Big Cat by surprise. "My men are well trained in combat we are a well oiled machine what makes you think you could take the entire palace of guards?" He asked anger building in his voice. Prometheus smirked, "Son your not on my level. None in this realm are. Last chance take me to the king I'm loosing my patience. Listen I could of just barged in. Instead I'm being polite and that politeness has limits" Prometheus's voice was more stern this time. Shadow Cat seemed hesitant, but he could see in the strangers eyes he was serious.
He then turned to his men, "Everyone stay close we are escorting this stranger to the king I want everyone watching this gentlemen at all times" he said in front of Prometheus and then glared at him, "Try anything and you'll regret it!" He threatened. Prometheus merely laughed, "Sure. Keep telling yourself that. Let's meet the king" he then walked past Shadow Cat into the cluster of guards that then surrounded him as they headed for the bridge.
