Red Demon ran across the wall ramparts throwing flaming javelins at weak points of the tower. Each bigger than the last. His chi was slowly dwindling but with the Black Hole cultivation technique chi kept flowing into his core after a few minutes. His genetics also played a part being he was half Dragon Folk with endless chi. But he would need to reach the Celestial Step to fully utilize that. He kept moving as he weakened the shield. The ice slowly crept closer to the tower.
The ice creatures threw themselves at the shield creating more tension. Ice spread from their bodies up the tower in patches. Red Demon poured chi into the Ice Helm and kept the chisel in the position he left it in. Eventually he would need to recall the weapon back before he drained all chi from him. He was working with a lot of things all at once giving chi to power each. He popped the cork off an elixir bottle and drank it, speeding up his chi replenishment.
After the shield burst into sparks the ice then enveloped the base and gate. More monsters appeared from the ice plane running at the tower. Most cultivators who did not possess his chi absorption technique like Chi Leech would need to absorb chi through their soul cores. But with chi stones anyone could absorb the chi. But adding a big sized stone like this and his Chi Leech ability he would expand his soul core ten times over. "Let's see what greed gets me!" He said activating his boots. He then flew towards the stone he landed on it and then his palm ignited as he activated Chi Leech. He slapped a hand onto the stone absorbing the chi instantly. His soul core started to grow slowly as he took in more power. He concentrated on keeping his body from exploding. He could feel his core expanding as he took in more power. Lightning then flashed overhead as it struck the plant.
The storm above took on a different attribute as he distributed the chi to his spells and weapons. More ice monsters appeared in the thousands now. Snow started to fall more and the air grew freezing. His body felt like he was on fire but he kept wanting more chi. The base exploded as the ice monsters entered the base. Red Demon could feel his body moving to the middle tier of the fifth rank. He then felt his body going numb and he couldn't handle the pain or the power any longer. He let go and fell to the earth. He quickly maneuvered and rolled across the icy ground. His body was smoking and felt hot. He directed the chi to not only his soul core but his element meridians. And then to his forge meridian expanding them to the middle tier as well. He pushed some to his Mind Palace that lit up his Red Sea to pink light. He felt his body growing exponentially. He felt hungry for chi. He couldn't think of anything else.
After he stabilized he got to his feet and stared up at the chi stone that was still glowing. "If there's more of that then this place is a gold mine to anyone who could mine it" he whispered to himself. He manifested two crimson katanas. 'I'm still hungry!' He thought about running into the base.
He summoned the chisel back and followed the remaining monsters inside. He kept the Ice Helm on to keep the creatures and weather intact. He rushed in attacking a nearby Big Cat soldier impaling him with a katana and pressing his hand onto his chest sucking all his chi out shriveling him into a mummified cat. He jerked the katana out and all he kept thinking was 'more!' He then sprinted forward, attacking two more and draining them.
He became blinded by hunger cutting and absorbing chi from his victims making him lose count. This continued till he finally felt a jolt run through him making fall to his knees. His mind finally cleared with this backlash. 'Shit! Raijin warned me of this. 'Chi Leech is a powerful technique for chi absorption but it will awaken a hunger that will blind you' the voice of Raijin echoed in his mind. 'I let myself get cocky and get carried away' he thought, shaking his head. He stood up shakily and 'I need to let my body stabilize' he could hear screaming and roars from down the hall. Slashes of metal and thuds as he focused on it running down the hall. He turned to see monsters fighting. They ripped through their prey with their claws and fangs painting the hall in blood.
He ran past, coming into the control center of the tower. All around were dead bird folk in white robes. Cat men all over fighting monsters. One in particular was cutting down all that came at him. He had frost on his fur and armor. His breath could be seen as he breathed hard fighting off more monsters. He was finally the last and with the last monster for him to kill. Red Demon deactivated the Ice Helm.
He was now dawning in his normal oni mask staring at the cat man with glowing red eyes. He then manifested his odachi Demon's Wrath. "You are a strong one?" He said to the Commander. "Who the hell are you?" Commander yelled angrily. "Someone dead" Red Demon was on him in a flash bringing his odachi down. Commander moved quickly to block the attack. He was thrown back from the impact and quickly jumped to the side as a blade of flames came at him. The console behind him exploded from the flames. He then extended a hand crumbling consoles into balls. He then threw them at Red Demon; he dodged one and slashed another mid air. 'Iron user? Seems I'm meeting more of your kind lately' he thought.
He slashed flame and shadow blades at the Commander who became too slow and lost an arm. His sword clattered to the ground and Red Demon went for the kill. He impaled the Commander. Red Demon stood over him and shook his head walking away. 'What a waste of chi' he thought, leaving the Commander to bleed to death.
He searched the tower and found correspondence from the Emerald King. 'Seems raids are being bumped up. This king makes me want to kill him more. I learn about him,' he thought, folding the papers up and putting it into his belt. He then found a map with other farms like the ones he had all throughout the land. The map was updated compared to the one in the village he bought. 'Truly don't want them to be educated, hope is dangerous. They cannot see the outside world and be cattle?' He shook his head at this realization. He then rolled up the map taking it.
He found some elixirs taking them and some food rations. He then left to go outside to the tower. He activated his boots and floated up to the giant chi stone. He then looked at his bracelet thinking of the storage dimension. "This might be able to hold it" he extended his left arm "Store" he shouted as the stone started to disappear into sparks absorbing into his bracelet.
He then felt that the bracelet reached its limit holding in the energy inside. 'Best not keeping it in there forever might help with the people in this forest to help them fatten up' he thought. 'Me and the Smiling Demon will benefit from it too,' he thought greedily.

Smiling Demon stood around rubble and iron spikes impaled in dead cat men. The tower was in shambles and dead bodies were everywhere. The aftermath of a chaotic battle of tremendous proportions. Metal shell of the Smiling Demon was covered in blood. He then started to grow giant and was now eye to eye with the giant chi stone. He then extended a hand cupping it to his palm. He then started to absorb the chi flowing it into his soul core while maintaining his armor. Swirling markings began to glow bright pale blue as he kept absorbing. His core started to grow and enlarge reaching the middle tier of the fifth rank. He extended the chi from soul core to Mind Palace to his Iron meridian. He felt like his body was growing stronger and more impenetrable. As he felt his limit he then shrank along with the stone as he came to normal size. The chi stone was now the size of his fist. He put it in his vest and then sat down stabilizing his chi. The plant then shut down darkening the tanks. The wall was now no more as he watched it flicker away. "Seems Red did his part as well. People of the Emerald Forest are free" he whispered. After his body stabilized he then walked into the forest heading to meet Red Demon.
