Slayer stared down at the beaten king. He picked up the black odachi and was now armed with two swords. "Will you take up the mantle?" Demon King asked. Slayer remained silent. "I wouldn't take your throne to save my life. I didn't know my brother but your actions against him sets in stone the person you are. A true piece of shit!" Slayer said. "Well regardless boy you still have my blood running through your veins. You're as much a part of me as your mother is" hearing this Slayer cut his leg off under the knee with the black odachi. He screamed in pain. "Mention my mother again please!" Slayer said with a cold tone. The king shook his head and he fought through the pain that was burning away his flesh.
"Ah well…I fought and lost. Finish it then boy end my reign. This is what you wanted more than anything right?" Slayer said nothing as he came down with both blades stabbing him in the chest. He coughed under his mask before dying. His body went limp and black blood pooled under his body. He approached taking his mask off. Showing a middle aged man with a black beard. His face was bruised and black blood coated his lips. He then placed a hand on his chest sapping his chi.
He turned to look at Trax and Zeena. He approached them. "Well done," Trax said. "Anyone who asks what happened here tells them it was a Red Demon" he then patted his teacher's shoulder. He approached Zeena and she looked up at the Oni mask with a tremble in her voice. "You realize everything that has happened today is partly your doing?" Slayer accused with cold indifference. She had tears falling down her face and her face sunk looking at her dead son.
"I am sorry…" she said softly. Slayer said nothing to this. He then stabbed her in the throat with the black odachi she slumped down dead. "It's finished then?" Trax asked. "No. I still have a duty to end the civil war. Just needed to take a few pieces off the board first. My revenge couldn't wait" Slayer explained. Trax nodded at this. "Well I look forward to hearing of your exploits throughout the realms. Your title will strike fear in them. The Red Demon will be whispered in conversation among the people" his teacher said proudly. "Yes and fear will be my greatest tool from here on out. What will you do?" He asked. "Retirement. I'll raid the stores of wealth. And build a home far from this city" Trax explained. "Could you do me a favor?" Slayer asked. "What's that son?" Slayer turned. "Give some of that wealth and supplies to the Dragon Folk. They need to rebuild their lives. The Demon King did enough for them" he explained. Trax nodded at this "I will" he told him. He placed the black odachi into his belt as it disappeared into the belt. His soul weapon disappeared and he walked past his teacher giving him one last friendly tap on shoulder. "If you survive, come find me and tell me of your exploits!" Trax said with a smile. Slayer gave him a wave without turning around. When turned the corner he dropped down to his knees. 'I used up so much chi…' he quickly got up and began to walk away limping through the ruined city.

Trax walked towards Fang carrying a large sack on his back. He was dawned in a cloak and had two swords on his belt with a personal backpack. He stopped outside Fang as two dragon warriors approached them. He threw the sack down at his feet. "What are you doing here, demon? Your kind isn't welcome!" one warrior said. The other was the same demon that talked to Slayer standing behind him. "Yes. I understand that and I come to rectify some things'' Trax opened the giant sack and showed gold, weapons, armor, and food. "The sack is enchanted so what you see is just the tip of what's in there" Trax spoke nonchalantly. The warrior approached and looked at the sack. His green eyes widened seeing the contents. "Why? Where is this generosity coming from?" he didn't look swayed. Trax smiled, "Simple. Demon King is dead '' this made the warriors surprised. They gave each other a look. "This a trick?" the second warrior asked. Trax merely shook his head, "Saw it happen myself. The King's Test came into town. The Kingslayer killed him along with the Shadow Cohort. He crippled the Demon City along with its army" Trax said. "He asked that I share the resources with you as repentance" the warriors looked taken aback by this. "What's his name so we can share with the elders the benefactor of this?" the first warrior asked. "Red Demon is his name. He also took down the Light Realm. So spread the word of the new King Slayer. I will leave you now in peace" Trax gave them a nod. He turned and walked away from the city of Fang with no destination in particular.
The dragon warriors took the sack and walked into Fang.

Slayer held the black odachi in his hands, staring at it. 'This is the Black Demon, a sword of corrosion. I don't know if I should even keep this blade. Every soul that wields it resides in it. If they are killed with it under their command' he could hear a voice echo from the blade. The voice of his father laughed 'You really think you're destined for anything my son? Being a King Slayer is a curse not a privilege' a voice echoed in his mind. "I'll carry you with me so you can see how wrong you are. If and when I use you will be for the greater good!" He yelled at the sword. 'We shall see! All I have is time now!' Demon King said laughing. He put it back in his belt.
After a week of rest and cultivation he decided to head west to the Gate. He then walked into the desolate desert. He had one more place to go before his fate was left to chance.
