Chapter 455 - Chapter 455: Fashion Show

The streets of Water 7 were coming back to alive. The shops were slowly opening. Kaya, Mikita, Honey, Nojiko, Vivi, Marianne, Zala, Saphir, Conis, Raki, Maya, Robin, and Kalifa strolled through the marketplace. Sunlight sparkled off the canals.

"So our Captain told us to get some new clothes?" Raki asked. She thought it was a strange request.

"Yes, that was the order from him," Kalifa replied as she nodded and touched her glasses.

"Is there something wrong with what we wear?" Conis asked, looking at what she was wearing. She wanted Ben to be happy with her clothing.

"No, I don't think that is the matter," Mikita responded as she looked around.

"He wants us to be comfortable and spend for ourselves," Zala responded. She smiled and thought he was different for sure.

"Comfortable, we can walk naked for him. Animals are the most comfortable in that state," Robin remarked.

"Naked?" Marianne asked, looking in horror for a second however she did not mind Ben seeing.

"Pervert," Kaya said. She had a smile on her face.

They all giggled. "Probably not that either," Mikita said.

"I think it's more simple, like Zala said, our Captain wants to spend money on us," Nojiko said as she smiled.

"That does sound right. Ben said he wants us to feel special and wants us to be happy. He always sees our best interests," Vivi said.

They all smiled. "Strange how it is always Vivi defending Ben," Nojiko teased, winking at Vivi.

"She is the Princess," Robin added. They all laughed.

"Either way, it might be good to do some shopping anyway, it has been a while since I did some," Saphir remarked.

The group made their way into a boutique. They looke to see the various dresses, casual clothing and even beachwear. "This place has everything," Maya remarked.

"That is good for us. We can buy everything here we need," Mikita said.

"Let's pick out the clothes and we can show each other like a mini fashion show," Zala added.

Nojiko chuckled, eyeing a daring cropped top. "I like the idea of doing a fashion show! Everyone picks out something bold and new," she said. The girls had mixed thoughts but agreed. They noted there was no one in the shop besides one female sales assistant.

The girls spread out, each drawn to racks. The girls started picking out outfits. Soon, the dressing rooms were alive with laughter and teasing as they tried on their outfits one by one, stepping out to show the group.

"Kaya you go first," Nojiko said.

"Why me?" Kaya replied.

"We should do it in the order we joined," Vivi interjected.

"That sounds fair," Raki agreed.

"Alvida is not here, so it's Honey," Kalifa said.

"Okay," Honey responded. Honey had put on her outfit. She chose a bright yellow sundress with bold cut-outs on the sides. Her cleavage could be seen. The dress went to her knees and exposed her legs. She wore high heels.

"It is a nice outfit," Conis exclaimed.

"But not bold," Kalifa said, touching her glass.

"Once second," Honey said as she stepped into the changing room. She changed her outfit and stepped out. Honey wore a purple crop top which exposed her stomach. She had booty shorts and high heels. Then she had her coat on.

"Wow," Marianne said, her mouth was open.

"Bold for sure," Robin agreed. She had a smile on her face.

"Ben may have trouble keeping his hands off you," Mikita teased.

"Two outfits each should be good to see from each, then the rest can be a surprise," Kalifa said.

"That is a good idea," Vivi agreed. She did not want to show all the outfits she selected right now.

"Kaya, you are up," Kalifa said. Kaya nodded.

Kaya emerged from the dressing room wearing a flowing, sky-blue dress. Delicate lace traced the edges of the dress, while a pattern of small flowers was embroidered along the hem and bodice. The dress was slightly off-shoulder, exposing her collarbone. The flowers on the bodice cascaded delicately down to her waist, where the dress flowed into a gentle A-line, sweeping just above her ankles. Tiny, silver threads woven into the floral design caught the light.

"Oh, Kaya, it's like it was made for you," Vivi said in admiration, clasping her hands together.

"Beautiful for sure," Maya agreed.

Kalifa adjusted her glasses, giving a nod of approval. "It's classic and beautiful," Kalifa agreed.

"Ben would drop to his feet seeing this," Nojiko teased.

Marianne grinned. "You look like a princess out of a storybook, Kaya!" Marianne said.

"Someone might have competition," Robin added. They all giggled.

"Next outfit," Zala said.

Kaya stepped into the dressing room and changed into another outfit. She sighed and thought this one was a bit embarrassing. She stepped out wearing a red pirate hat with a white skull and crossbones symbol on the front. Her main outfit consists of a short, fitted white dress, which was sleeveless and hugged her figure. Over the dress, she's wearing an oversized, light brown trench coat with large buttons and a patch on the upper arm that resembles a crest. She wore knee high boots.

"It looks great, the hat is a nice touch," Vivi said as she smiled.

"I want that hat," Marianne said looking at the pirate hat.

"You look amazing," Saphir said.

"Daring for sure," Nojiko teased as she looked at her exposed legs.

"I am next," Nojiko said as she got up and headed to the dressing room.

She stepped out wearing a dark, blue fitted tank top leaving her midriff exposed. She wore low-rise blue jeans that fit snugly, giving her outfit a casual, edgy vibe. She also wore blue sandals.

"This outfit looks similar to your regular ones," Kaya said.

"I know, that's why I liked it," Nojiko teased back.

"I thought it had to be daring," Raki remarked.

"Yes, it has to be daring," Zala agreed.

"Daring you shall get," Nojiko responded as she stepped inside her dresser room. She changed and stepped out. She wore a sleeveless black dress that had a sleek, edgy look. The dress was short, ending high above her knees. She wore black high heels.

"That is more daring," Mikita said.

"It suits you nicely," Maya agreed.

"Okay, who is next?" Saphir asked. She looked around the room.

"Technically it would be Vivi but she had a condition to join so it is Mikita?" Zala said as she thought about it.

"I am okay going next," Mikita said. Vivi nodded.

Mikita walked into the dressing room and strutted out in a yellow high-waisted skirt paired with a tight yellow crop top, showing off her midriff. She struck a pose, placing a hand on her hip and flashing a cheeky grin. Her yellow high heels clicked on the ground.

"Wow, Mikita!" Honey remarked.

"Your favourite colours as well," Zala said. She thought she liked yellow so much.

"It is beautiful," Conis agreed.

"I will change into my next outfit," Mikita said

Mikita wore an orange jacket that exposed her stomach. She also wore orange jeans and orange shoes. She had an orange hat on her head and white gloves.

"I also like orange," Mikita teased.

"We can see that," Saphir said.

"It suits you so well," Marianne agreed. They all smiled and giggled.

"I can go next," Marianne said as she put her hand up. Vivi smiled and nodded.

Marianne entered the dresser room and changed into her outfit. She stepped out wearing a cropped, off-the-shoulder top with high-waisted shorts. She wore boots going knee high length.

"Perfect for the artist on board!" Kaya giggled.

Marianne beamed. "I could definitely paint in this!" She was happy they liked it. It meant Ben would like it as well.

"Very cute," Honey remarked. She looked adorable, she thought.

"I am interested to see your next outfit," Robin said.

Marianne stepped inside and changed her clothes. She then stepped out wearing a white top and blue denim jean shorts and shoes. She had her large hat on.

"That looks cute," Raki remarked.

"Perfect for her," Maya agreed.

"Yes, Ben could eat her up," Robin said with a smile on her face. They all giggled.

"I can go next," Zala volunteered. Vivi nodded.

Zala went to get changed. She stepped out in a sleek, fitted black leather jacket. The jacket was cropped just above her waist, highlighting her lean figure, with silver zippers and studs along the collar and cuffs She wore a simple, dark-gray tank top. Her pants were a pair of tight, high-waisted black trousers. She completed the look with a pair of black ankle boots.

Raki smiled "Zala, you look like you're ready for battle!" she said.

Nojiko grinned, crossing her arms. "With that look, you could intimidate an entire fleet," she remarked.

Zala smirked, clearly pleased. "Good. That's the goal," she responded.

"Bold as ever," Mikita added.

"Wait till you see my second outfit," Zala teased as she stepped into the dresser room and once again changed. She stepped out wearing a sleek, dark-green, high-neck jumpsuit with fitted, sleeveless shoulders. A subtle, gold-trimmed belt cinched her waist. The jumpsuit tapered down into slim, tailored legs that ended just above her ankles, perfectly showcasing a pair of strappy gold heels. Around her wrists were golden cuff bracelets. Zala struck a pose, her gaze cool and confident.

"You look like someone who could lead armies," Conis remarked.

"You all are just pulling my leg now," Zala responded.

"We can let our Captain be the judge of that," Kalifa said, touching her glasses.

"I am next now," Vivi said as she jumped from her seat.

"Someone is impatient," Saphir said.

"She wants to show it off to Ben," Nojiko teased. Vivi pouted slightly as she stepped into the dressing room and changed.

Vivi stepped out in a deep blue, floor-length gown. The fabric gleamed under the lights, catching hints of sapphire as she moved. The dress had a plunging neckline and long, fitted sleeves. The gown flared slightly at the hips. She wore silver heels that peeked out with each step. Her blue hair went over her shoulder.

Marianne sighed in awe. You look stunning," Marianne remarked.

"A true princess," Maya agreed, seeing her in the outfit.

"Vivi can pull it off with any outfit," Nojiko remarked.

"Thank you all," Vivi said as she changed to her second outfit. She stepped out wearing a high-waisted skirt with layers of light. Tiny silver beads were sewn into the fabric. The skirt was paired with a fitted crop top. Around her waist, a silver belt, she wore. She completed the look with silver bangles on her wrists and a matching anklet that jingled softly as she walked. She wore heels to complete the outfit.

Honey looked over in amazement. "Vivi, you look like you just stepped out of an Alabastan legend!"

Raki nodded. "It suits you. Like you're ready to lead with elegance and strength."

"Ben would like this for sure," Nojiko said.

"Royalty is all over her," Kalifa added, touching her glasses. "Next is Robin," Kalifa added.

"Okay," Robin said as she got up and walked into the changing room. She changed her clothes and stepped out. Robin wore a strapless, fitted top with a corset-like design in a light beige colour. The top has lacing at the front, and there is a decorative strap on the upper arm.

She had black, skin-tight pants with lace-up designs running along the outer sides of each leg and a purple sash tied around the waist, hanging to one side. She wore knee-high boots in a matching light beige colour.

"Looking good," Mikita said.

"It does suit you," Maya added.

"Now for my second outfit," Robin said as she changed and stepped out. She wore a long, elegant purple evening gown. The dress featured a deep V-neckline with a narrow strip of fabric in the middle, extending down to the waist, creating a bold and revealing cut. The back of the dress was almost completely open, plunging down to the lower back, with thin straps. The gown has a high slit on one side. She wore purple high-heeled shoes.

"Wow," Marianne remarked.

"A perfect dinner date dress," Zala remarked.

"Maybe that was the idea," Robin giggled. "I have picked a more daring outfit but it will be later," she added.

"Okay, next is Saphir," Kalifa said, touching her glasses.

Saphir nodded and stepped into the changing room. She changed and stepped out in a short, teal sundress. The dress had a halter neckline that accentuated her shoulders, with thin, delicate straps that tied at the back. The fabric was lightweight and airy, flowing just above her knees. Tiny pearl-like buttons ran down the bodice. She also wore strappy, white sandals with small seashell charms around the ankle straps.

Nojiko grinned as she watched Saphir twirl. "That dress looks perfect for you—like you're ready to stroll along the beach," she remarked.

Kaya nodded approvingly. "It suits you. Simple, but with a unique charm," she agreed.

Saphir then changed into her second outfit. She wore a deep navy, body-hugging gown. The dress had a subtle shimmer to it. It had a one-shoulder neckline, draping elegantly over her right shoulder while leaving her left bare. The dress flowed down to the floor, with a high slit along the side. She wore a silver belt around her waist. She completed the look with silver heels and simple stud earrings.

Mikita whistled. "Wow, Saphir, you look like the queen of the ocean in that dress." Mikita remarked.

Nojiko gave an approving nod. "It's bold, but refined," she agreed.

"It looks good on you," Maya voiced her opinion. They all nodded.

"It is my turn next," Conis said as she got up and entered the changing room. She changed her clothes and emerged in a soft, blush-pink dress, with flowers all over it. The dress had a fitted waist, and had a knee-length skirt. She wore white heels.

Maya looked over with admiration. "Conis, you look so sweet, like a garden fairy," Maya remarked.

Vivi nodded with a smile. "It suits you so well," Vivi agreed.

"The bracelet is a nice touch," Zala added.

"I will change to my second outfit," Conis quickly said. She picked up a black bikini top and black thong however she thought later. She changed her clothes and stepped out. She wore a striking dress in a gradient of sunset colours, starting with a soft coral at the top and fading into a warm, golden hue. The dress was sleeveless, with a graceful V-neckline. She wore sandals.

"You look dazzling," Saphir said.

"The colours are really nice," Marianne added.

Mikita smiled. "It's unique but completely fitting. You look radiant, Conis," she remarked.

"Raki is next," Kalifa said.

Raki nodded and headed into the dressing room. She changed and stepped out. She wore a cropped, deep olive-green top with one shoulder strap and a diagonal neckline. The top was decorated with tribal-inspired patterns stitched in earthy colors. She paired it with trousers. Around her waist, she wore a wide belt. Raki had a pair of lace-up boots reaching just below her knees completed the look.

"It looks nice," Honey remarked.

"Yes, very nice," Vivi agreed.

"I will change to my second outfit," Raki said as she went to change. She stepped out and wore a fitted, navy-blue tunic with a high collar and short sleeves. Below, she paired it with dark, flowing harem pants. Around her waist, she wore a wide, silver-trimmed sash. On her feet, she wore sturdy, water-resistant boots.

"It looks good," Saphir said.

Marianne smiled. "It's powerful and elegant, just like you, Raki," she added.

"Yes it looks cool," Honey said.

"Yes, I have a few more but later," Raki said as she went to change back.

"I guess it is my turn now," Maya said as she got up. They all nodded. Maya got in and went to change her clothes.

Maya stepped out in a sage-green cloak dress that draped over her shoulders. Underneath, she wore a simple, earth-toned fitted dress that hugged her form. The dress reached mid-thigh, while the cloak flowed down to her ankles. Around her waist, she wore a belt with small pouches and charms. She finished the ensemble with leather sandals and a delicate crown of woven vines and small flowers.

Robin raised an eyebrow, clearly impressed. "Maya, you look like a woodland enchantress," Robin remarked.

"That sounds cool and scary," Marianne remarked.

"It is more cool," Honey added. They all nodded.

"Now for the second outfit," Zala remarked as she smiled at her. Maya nodded and stepped into the dressing room. She changed her clothes and stepped out. She wore a midnight-blue gown that sparkled with tiny silver flecks. The gown was sleeveless, with a high neckline. The dress flowed down to the floor in soft. She wore a silver belt. A sheer, silver shawl was draped around her shoulders. She completed the look with silver cuffs around her wrists. She wore high heels.

"You look like a priestess of the night, Maya," Mikita said.

Vivi clapped her hands in delight. "It's stunning, Maya. You look absolutely magical," Vivi remarked.

"Thank you all," Maya responded as she smiled at everyone.

"The last person is me," Kalifa said. They all smiled. Kalifa entered and changed her clothes and strode out in a sleek, midnight-blue velvet blazer with a plunging neckline. The blazer hugged her curves perfectly. Beneath, she wore a sheer lace camisole that peeked out subtly. She wore a pencil skirt in matching velvet that stopped just above the knee, with a daring slit on one side.

She also wore black, pointed-toe stilettos.

Nojiko raised an eyebrow with approval. "Kalifa, that look is breathtaking," she remarked.

"Very proper," Honey added.

"Perfect for Ben, he is sometimes disorganised," Zala remarked. They all giggled.

"I will change into my second outfit," Kalifa said as she changed in the dressing room. She walked out wearing a crimson silk blouse with a deep V-neckline and a black pencil skirt. The blouse was semi-sheer, with a delicate lace pattern that teased just enough without being too revealing. She layered it with a cropped black blazer that emphasised her waist. Her skirt had a high slit in the back. She wore black leather heels with red soles.

Vivi admired the look with a smile. "Kalifa, you look like a woman ready to help take over the world," Vivi remarked.

Kalifa adjusted her glasses "One has to dress the part," she remarked.

Nojiko grinned. "With that look, no one would dare challenge you. Ben is lucky to have you by his side," Nojiko remarked.

Kalifa`s heartbeat skipped again.

"We should head back to the Miss Love Duck," Kalifa said. They all nodded. They paid for their clothes and took bags and bags of clothes back.
