"Sounds like we're delving into something mysterious," Zala chimed in.
"And undeniably dangerous," Raki added. She did some background into this from the chat however she knew there was more.
"No doubt about it. The World Government won't hesitate to commit genocide to safeguard these secrets," Ben asserted.
Robin felt a shiver down her spine. He was right yet he was willing to go through this. He is risking everyone's life."We're plunging into deep waters, once we may never come out" Robin confirmed.
"I'm not about to retreat, especially not with everyone by our side," Zala declared.
"And we won't," Ben affirmed.
"I can see that. After all, you faced off against a god," Raki pointed out. She thought she knew all about genocide, the fake god Enel committed one. It made her sick.
"We will face against anyone," Ben stated. The girls felt their heart beats skip a beat.
"Do you have any other dreams?" Ben asked.
"You tell me," she replied firmly. This was the answer he got last time. Ben knew it was still not the right time. He nodded.
"Zala, your dream is to discover more," he added.
"And I have discovered another lab, ancient weapons, the Golden Bell, an ancient robot, orbs." she replied. "However, I know there is more and I want to see it," she added.
"Your adventures sound like a tall tale," Raki responded. "However I know it's true," Raki added.
"Like Robin said, there is more, and more to see and learn," Ben stated.
"Your devil fruit tells you?" Robin asked.
"Yes," Ben replied.
"Devil fruit?" Raki asked.
"It allows him to see bits in the past," Zala replied.
Ben gave this explanation to make it easier to explain how he knows so much.
"Interesting," Raki said.
"Do you have any other dreams?" Ben asked.
"Well, I always dreamed as a child to work in my own restaurant," Zala blurted out. She had been serving everyone breakfast so far and she liked it especially with Ben.
Ben grinned. "I can make that dream a reality soon," he assured her.
"How?" Zala inquired.
"It's a secret for now," Ben replied cryptically. "But you'll have to trust me," he added.
"Secrets," Robin echoed thoughtfully.
"Raki what is your dream?" Ben asked.
"You are asking a lot of questions," Raki replied.
"I want to know for my crew, so I can help their dreams," Ben replied.
"My dream was to stop Enel and get our land back," Raki responded.
"We know that, but what about your dream?" Ben inquired, his gaze lingering on Raki, hidden behind her sunglasses. He sensed there was something she wasn't sharing, at least not yet.
Raki met his eyes coolly, her thoughts guarded behind tinted lenses. She had a dream, a longing that whispered to her soul, but revealing it now felt too vulnerable, too raw.
"I don't have one. Right now, all I want is to relax," Raki replied, turning away.
Ben chuckled inwardly, recognizing Raki's occasional flare of temper. "You can tell me when you're ready," he reassured her, rising from his seat. He walked over to Zala and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. A warm smile appeared on her face.
His attention shifted to Robin, who was shooting him a glare that could cut through steel. He thought maybe not. He stole a glance back at her, admiring the delicate curve of her wings and the graceful line of her back, and her ass but he knew better than to provoke her. Sometimes, it was wiser not to poke the bear.
He walked over to the edge of the ship and saw the sun setting. He thought it had been a long day and this was a break, they all needed it. He thought of having a quick chat with HQ and then show his love to Marianne.
