The girls observed intently as HQ carefully inserted the paper into the machine. They saw the light change to green. For a few tense seconds, nothing happened, and the room was filled with an anxious silence. Then, all of a sudden, the screen changed dramatically.
A large satellite appeared on the screen, rendered in high-definition detail. The satellite's sleek, metallic surface glinted under the simulated sunlight, and various components, including solar panels and communication antennas, were clearly visible. As the image stabilized, the satellite began to rotate slowly, providing a 3D view of its idesign.
"This technology is light-years ahead of anything I've seen before," Kaya whispered, her eyes wide with amazement.
"This feels like a glimpse into the future," Vivi said, her excitement evident.
"Or the past," Robin noted, her analytical mind racing.
"It's amazing," Honey commented, unable to take her eyes off the screen.
"I can't believe how detailed it is," Nojiko observed, her curiosity piqued.
"Amazing," Marianne murmured, her admiration clear.
"My love, what will this do?" Alvida asked. She wondered.
"There has to be a purpose for this," Zala commented.
"Well a satellite when launched and operational is meant to collect information or for communication," Ben replied.
[The Satellite once launched will allow for seamless communication between the lab and Deni Deni Mushi you own regardless of the distance. Furthermore, it will allow all the Miss Love ship`s to be controlled remotely from all the labs.]
(Thank you for letting us know Sweetie, that is incredible. As usual you are the best. )
Ben relayed this information to everyone.
"Hmmm, controlling the Miss Love ship from the lab will be useful," Alvida stated.
"Sis has always talked about drawing a map of the world. This would make it possible," Nojiko said.
"Maps are useful in more than one ways, knowing where we are, where we are going and coming from will be real power," Robin added.
"Sounds like a money making idea," Mikita joked.
"It will solve our travel issue," Ben remarked. He added, "Let's launch this satellite."
"Yes Master," HQ replied. She pressed a few buttons on the computer. The large monitor changed to a room. They saw a large bay with a retractable roof. It was a large room with a large cylindrical object in the middle. It was reinforced with a titanium alloy that gleamed under the lights of the lab. This central body housed the essential systems, including its power source, communication arrays, and onboard computers.Extending from the main body were large, multi-segmented solar panels. At one end of the object, there was an antenna dish.
"That is a satellite," Ben commented.
"Looks like a round ball," Vivi said.
"A ball with wings," Honey commented
"And tail," Marianne added.
"I will act like a Boss Den Den Mushi, just relaying information over vast distances," Ben explained.
"Its will be the entire planets, Master," HQ informed.
"Let's launch it," Zala said excitedly. All the girls looked thrilled, their anticipation palpable as they prepared for the launch.
"I want to see it fly," Conis said.
"It will be launched from here, so it will soar to the sky. They are usually locked onto an orbit and at a constant speed so they don't fall out," Ben explained.
"That is interesting," Raki remarked.
"Captain is smart," Marianne remarked.
"You are going to feed his ego," Kaya said.
The other girls giggled.
"HQ launch it," Ben ordered.
HQ pressed a few buttons on the computer, and with a mechanical hum, the silo door began to open at the top. Smoke started to billow out. A number appeared on the screen, glowing brightly.
"It's the beginning the countdown," Ben remarked.
"10," the girls read out in unison, their voices filled with excitement.
"9," they continued, the tension in the room building.
"8," the anticipation was palpable, everyone's eyes fixed on the screen.
"7," the satellite's systems powered up, lights flickering on along its body.
"6," the hum of machinery grew louder, the ground beneath them vibrating slightly.
"5," they could see the satellite's solar panels begin to unfurl slowly.
"4," a low rumble echoed through the lab as the engines prepared for ignition.
"3," the smoke thickened, swirling around the base of the satellite.
"2," the countdown clock ticked down, the final moments stretching endlessly.
"1," the girls held their breath, the excitement reaching its peak.
"Launch!" they all shouted together. The satellite lifted off smoothly, ascending into the sky with a trail of smoke and fire. Cheers and applause erupted from the group, their faces lit up with triumph and awe.
As the satellite ascended, it cut through the atmosphere with precision and grace. The initial burst of fire and smoke from the engines propelled it upward, leaving a brilliant trail in the sky. The girls watched in awe, their eyes following the sleek, metallic body as it soared higher and higher.
The satellite's trajectory was perfectly calculated, and it climbed steadily, piercing through layers of cloud cover. The onboard cameras provided a live feed to the large screen. The curvature of the planet became more pronounced, and the vast expanse of the ocean and land masses could be seen.
As the satellite reached the upper stratosphere, the first stage of its propulsion system disengaged, falling away in a controlled descent back to Earth. The second stage ignited seamlessly, providing the necessary thrust to continue the journey into orbit.
Higher and higher it went, until it broke free of the Earth's atmosphere and entered the vacuum of space. The satellite's solar panels fully deployed, catching the sunlight and beginning to generate power. Tiny thrusters on the satellite made minute adjustments, ensuring it followed the precise path required to reach its designated orbit.
The screen showed a green symbol. "Master, it has been successful, we have linked the satellite," HQ informed.
The girls erupted into cheer. Their screen showed a map with dots scattered around. They saw three dots together which they thought was the Miss Love Duck, Miss Love Maxima and the Skypiea lab. Then they saw two dots together.
"That must be Miss Love Geese and the Partia lab," Ben observed.
"Can we call them?" Saphir asked.
"Sure, why not?" Ben replied.
