On the deck of the Miss Love Duck, Honey, Robin, Mikita, and Conis stood together, their eyes drawn to the sight of figures clad in pristine white robes gathering on the tree branches. They were gliding on the air and river.
"Divine Soldiers," Conis murmured, a note of concern tingling her voice as she recognised the unmistakable attire. They had fought them before but they were back.
Mikita's expression hardened, her gaze narrowing as she observed the approaching figures. "They are here again," she stated.
Robin's brow furrowed in thought as she observed the scene unfolding before them. "They were fighting against those other people," she observed.
"Why did they attack us in the first place?" Honey questioned. She knew that the Divine Soldiers were their enemies however the other groups attacked them but now they fought each other.
"They must see us as hostile," Robin reasoned, her voice tinged with resignation.
"We didn't do anything," Conis protested. It was a lot for her to take in, being attacked twice by the same people. She had been living in fear from everyone.
"It does not matter to them," Mikita stated. "They have those Shooters, we should take them," Mikita ordered. Robin and Honey nodded.
"There are ten of them," Mikita noted, her eyes scanning the surroundings as she counted them.
"Always more," Honey remarked. Robin and Mikita exchanged knowing glances. They both smiled.
"We can handle it, our Captain believes in us," Robin stated confidently.
Mikita nodded in agreement, determination flickering in her eyes. "He does," she declared.
"Conis, go inside and be on the Bridge. It's safer there," Mikita instructed firmly, her tone leaving no room for argument.
"But, I," Conis started..
"You'll just get in our way," Robin interjected, her words blunt but practical. Mikita thought that was Robin.
Conis's expression fell, a hint of sadness clouding her features. "But I want to help," she murmured softly.
"You're part of the crew, and we trust you," Mikita reassured her, her voice gentle yet firm. "But right now, your safety is our priority. Ben would not like you getting hurt. We need you to be safe." Mikita winked.
Reluctantly, Conis nodded, understanding the reasoning behind their decision even if it left her feeling somewhat sidelined. With a heavy heart, she made her way inside towards the Bridge. She wanted to be part of the crew.
"We will train together to get stronger," Honey said as Conis left. She knew what she felt, she was once weak and cowardly then Ben came into her life. She smiled as she thought back how things have changed.
Robin saw two Divine Soldiers in the air. "Seis Fleur," Robin said as she sprouted six arms on the Divine Soldiers.
"What is this?" one of the Divine Soldiers shouted.
Robin smiled. "Clutch," Robin said as the two arms grabbed their legs, making them fall backward. She used another two pairs to hold up at their back, and a final pair grabbed their upper body. Robin then moved all the hands cracking their backs. The Divine Soldiers screamed as they went into the river.
Two more Divine soldiers emerged from the eastern side of the ship. With hands outstretched, they brandished dials, their fingers deftly pressing a button that triggered a powerful mechanism. Suddenly, a blade of compressed air in an X shape surged forth towards the Miss Love Duck.
Honey saw this. "Double Air Blast," Honey said as she raised her two hands forwards. A torrent of purple liquid blasted from her hands. The liquid went towards the two Divine Soldiers as they got hit. They lost balance and went down into the river.
"Miss Love Duck got hit," Honey reported.
Suddenly, two more soldiers appeared on the western side of the Miss Love Duck. Their hands stretched again. Mikita saw the Axe Dials in their hands. They pressed the button. A blade of compressed air in an X shape came towards the Miss Love Duck. Another hit.
"Axe Dial," Mikita said as she pressed the button on her own Axe Dial and launched an invisible compressed air blast in an X shape. It went towards one of the Divine Soldiers and got it. There was some blood coming from his chest as he lost balance and went into the river.
Mikita saw the second Divine Soldier using the Shooter to glide through the white river at them at full speed. The Divine Soldier held his hand out. He had a smile on his face as he got closer. Mikita saw the Axe Dial. She got ready.
At that moment, Saphir emerged from the depths of the river, a determined glint in her eyes as she brandished her spear. "Bleu Formidable," Saphir said as unleashed a flurry of powerful strikes. The sharp tip of her spear slashed him on the chest. The Divine Soldier cried out in agony as blood spurted forth in a crimson cascade before he toppled into the river below. Saphir swiftly leaped aboard the Miss Love Duck.
"Thanks, Saphir," Mikita expressed her gratitude, a relieved smile gracing her lips.
"No worries," Saphir replied casually, as she threw on the deck four pairs of Shooters on to Miss Love Duck deck. "I got these so far but there are more," Saphir added.
"Good job," Mikita commended.
The four remaining Divine Soldiers converged along the riverbank, their faces twisted into sinister smiles as they raised their hands forward in unison. Robin, Honey, Mikita, and Saphir locked eyes with the Divine Soldiers, a sinking feeling settling in their stomachs as they recognised the Axe Dials. Before they could react, the Divine Soldiers swiftly activated the mechanisms on the Axe Dials.
With a deafening whoosh, four X-shaped blades of compressed air surged forth from the Axe Dials, hurtling toward the Miss Love Duck. The attack from the Axe Dials hit Miss Love Duck. The ship moved slightly by the impact.
"Miss Love Duck got hit again," Honey said.
Mikita kissed her teeth. Robin crossed her hands. Honey put her hand forward. Mikita readied her Axe Dial. Saphir was about to jump in the river when a large bird came flying in. Fuza unleashed a mighty roar, his large beak opening wide as flames erupted from within, engulfing the Divine Soldiers in a scorching inferno. The soldiers cried out in agony as the searing heat seared their flesh.
"I thought he was on our side," one of the Divine Soldiers gasped between pained groans.
"He is Shura's loyal companion," another soldier chimed in.
The girls on the Miss Love Duck were also confused however, Mikita spotted Marianne on the back of Fuza with Vivi. She smiled. "Looks like it is on our side," Mikita said.
Honey also saw Marianne and Vivi. "Good job," she shouted. The Divine Soldiers screamed in pain as they all fell down from the fire.
Marianne and Vivi waved back. "Marianne got this for us, we are coming there," Vivi shouted back as she held Fuza. Marianne nodded and they went back. Kaya was also behind them, she saw Fuza destroy those soldiers, the flames were powerful.
At that moment, Nojiko came out of the Bridge. "Is everyone okay?" she asked.
