Chapter 259 - Chapter 259: God

While Ben and Luffy group partied with the wolves, Wyper, Kamakiri and Braham gathered around a newly built fireplace using branches from the trees nearby. Wyper stood tall despite the minor injuries he had. A shallow gash marred his cheek. Ohm had used his weapon and struck him. He gritted his teeth. He looked at his two comrades. Kamakiri, bore a slight limp from a twisted ankle. Braham had a bandage around his forearm.

"Wyper, those damn priests... they are strong," Kamakiri remarked, his voice heavy with concern. "Their mastery of mantra…." he added.

Braham nodded solemnly. "Even with one of their priests down, they put up a good fight and it cost us dearly."

Wyper clenched his fists in frustration, his brow furrowed with determination. "And, we will try again. The survival of our people depends on us." Wyper thought back to when he came. He kissed his teeth. He stared into the sky.

"We will get them next time," Kamakiri added.

"We definitely will," Wyper replied. He had a determined look. They all stood around the fireplace and looked into the fire.

Wyper then spoke. "Where is Raki?" Wyper demanded. "She is not here. Did she just go and rest?" he asked.

Kamakiri sighed heavily. "I saw her disappear. The dog and that bazooka from the priest amidst the chaos of battle. She was fighting fiercely, but then... she was gone," Kamakiri tried to explain.

Braham's eyes narrowed as he recalled the events. "Someone mentioned seeing a black-winged demon soaring," Braham remarked.

Wyper thought black winged demon. He thought back to what Raki had said prior to the battle. A black winged man saved a girl. He dismissed that thought. Wyper looked in the air. He saw the stars in the sky. He gritted his teeth. He thought back to the man on the pink ship.

"That man Raki told us about, and then this man being here," Wyper commented.

Kamakiri looked at Wyper. "You think that man took her?" Kamakiri asked.

Wyper looked back. "I told him to stay away from this," Wyper said. He looked angry.

"Raki could have fought back but she did not," Braham added.

"She must have had her reason," Kamakiri suggested.

"She'll be back," Wyper declared. "Raki is no longer a child. We will go again tomorrow," Wyper stated.

Kamakiri was a bit worried about Raki however Wyper was right. "We will fight," Kamakiri added.

"We will," Braham added. They all nodded.

Meanwhile, Shura, Gedatsu, Ohm approached a large place where they were summoned to. The place was carved from an ancient stone. There was a large lush garden surrounding the main building. There were large sheets draped around the throne. The throne was a large bed. The three priests looked at their God. He was a pale-skinned man with a well-toned build. The man was almost 9ft tall. He had a slim face, and a confident smile. His hair was blonde. His eyebrows were black, and rather thick. His nose was slim with a marked, flat bridge. His earlobes stretch all the way to his chest. He was shirtless and had worn large baggy pants.

Shura, Gedatsu, Ohm all approached the man. "You look rough," Ohm remarked. He looked at Shura who had scratches on him and his clothes which were in bad shape.

"Those sea dwellers are sinful," Shura replied, thinking about the two from the altar. He added, "Enel has called us since you could not take care of Wyper."

"Calm down, you did not do any better," Ohm replied. Shura and Ohm looked at each other.

"You failed," Shura stated. He took his lance out and pointed at Ohm. Ohm looked at Shura again.

"You both should calm," Gedatsu remarked.

At that moment, a lightning bolt hit from the sky. Shura, Gedatsu, Ohm dodged. "Fighting in my presence, you are all too weak, I am God," the man commented

"Enel," Gedatsu said. They all looked at him.

"You are all weak like Satori," Enel said. He grabbed an apple.

"He was too inexperienced," Ohm remarked.

"Like you," Shura said to Ohm.

"You are also weak," Enel stated. His voice echoed in the background. He added, "Shura, you did not even kill those sea people."

"I had to come save Ohm," Shura replied.

"I did not need your help," Ohm replied. He looked at Shura. He clenched his fist.

"Gan Fall met those blue sea people," Enel said while playing catch with his apple. He added, "Those blue sea people took out Satori."

This caught their attention. "What are they after?" Shura asked.

"There are two groups but they are friends," Enel replied. He took a bite from the apple. "The first group in which you fought Shura, is after gold," Enel added.

"How did they know about it?" Ohm asked.

"This island is said to come from the blue sea," Enel replied.

"The second group?" Gedatsu asked.

Enel smiled. "They are fools, the man is after girls and telling them all sweet lies," Enel laughed.

"Girls?" Gedatsu asked.

"He is an idiot,"Shura replied.

"The two groups are no threat, one is greedy, the other is a fool," Enel explained. Enel thought love, lust is nothing, power is everything.

"The Shandia will attack tomorrow," Enel declared, his voice carrying an air of ominous certainty.

"So they will be back," Gedastu remarked, a hint of anticipation in his tone.

"I will kill them," Shura vowed, his eyes gleaming with determination.

Enel's lips curled into a knowing smile as he observed his loyal followers. "All the rules will be void tomorrow," he offered, his words dripping with the promise of unrestrained chaos. "You can go wild."

"Why the generosity?" Ohm inquired, curiosity lacing his question.

Enel's gaze turned skyward, his thoughts momentarily drifting to his grand ambitions. "Maxim is almost complete," he explained, a spark of excitement igniting in his eyes. "My dream of reaching the place of dreams is almost here," he stated.

He paused and looked down. He took another bit of his apple. "We will destroy this island," Enel replied.

They all smiled.
