Mikita, Zala and Emeraude were waiting for the attack to begin. They were making small talk between them.
"Emeraude don't female fishfolks have tails?" Zala asked.
"We typically do, however I am a different species compared to the rest, we do not have tails," Emeraude replied.
"I wonder if Ben will be interested in a mermaid," Zala thought.
"He would be, he would love everyone," Mikita added.
"Captain is interesting," Emeraude said.
"He certainly is," Mikita said.
"Interesting enough to get us both to join and be with us," Zala said. Mikita and Zala giggled.
"You both like me came from another crew right?" Emeraude asked.
"Yes but Ben made us never feel we were from another crew. He welcomed us with open arms," Mikita said.
"But did he not make you cry initially," Zala teased.
Mikita looked embarrassed. "Hey," Mikita said.
Zala laughed. "He made up for it," Mikita added.
"He will but making you upset mean he still has a lot to do," Zala said.
They both laughed. "I am glad to know we joined the crew," Emeraude said.
"We wanted you to join," Mikita said.
"I will do my best," Emeraude added.
"You already have those weapon upgrades," Mikita said.
"Those are really good," Zala said.
"It is nothing," Emeraude said. She was being modest.
Mikita took the Veridian Enigma out of her pocket. "I can wait to use this baby," Mikita said. She also had her trusted umbrella on the other hand.
"I only changed it to reduce the kick," Emeraude said.
"And that is all I need," Mikita said.
"Ben will reward you nicely," Zala teased.
"After me of course," Mikita said.
"Yes after you," Zala added.
"He has rewarded me by letting him sleep with him," Emeraude said blushing.
"That is just the start," Mikita said.
"Follow your heart," Zala added.
"We did and we are here," Mikita said and added, "We don't regret it." Zala nodded. Emeraude thought they were right. Ben was in her heart. Her sisters were in her heart. The crew was in her heart. She will do it.
As they were talking, they heard a loud explosion. They looked to see a large mushroom cloud.
"It is starting," Mikita said.
They looked at the fortress and awaited. The shells kept raining onto the base. There were multiple explosions.
They waited. They could hear the others engaging in a fight however it was quiet on this front.
"Something is wrong," Mikita said.
"It is quiet," Zala said.
As they were observing a group of men came running out. They all wore a tailored black suit. The crispness of the white shirt beneath adds a stark contrast to their black blazer. A black tie could be seen. The sleek black glasses perched atop and black shoes clicked with each step.
"So those are the Cipher Pol Agents," Emeraude said.
"They are, I remember Crocodile off hand mentioned them," Zala said.
"You were always curious," Mikita said.
"It seems they are looking around," Emeraude said.
"So they are on their side," Zala said.
"Let's go," Mikita said. She jumped in the air. "Featherfall," Mikita said as she reduced her weight to near zero. She was able to float gently in the air towards the agents. She had opened her umbrella to give her more distance. She got on top of the agents.
She smiled. She positioned her leg forward. "Meteor Strike," Mikita said as she increased her weight dramatically. She descended like a falling meteor towards the ground. Upon impact, the force created a shockwave that knocked the agents off their feet. They all landed back in awkward positions. Some had damaged their arm and leg during the fall. Mikita pulled out the Veridian Enigma and started shooting the agents on the ground and who were trying to stand up.
She shot twice and loaded the gun. She shot twice and loaded the gun. She kept doing this and went through men after men.
"Stop it," a man shouted. He was wearing box gloves and attempted to punch Mikita. Mikita jumped back. She looked up to an extremely tall man. His head was huge. His legs were extremely long. His hair and beard were white while his mustache was black. He wore a black suit, and he has a yellow pin of the World Government symbol on the right side of his chest.
"So you are the one causing chaos," the man said.
"Jerry," the agent said.
"You are in for it now, he is the boxing Champion from Karate Island in the South Blue," another agent said.
Mikita looked at him. "So you are causing this chaos?" Jerry said.
"Maybe," Mikita said.
"You used to work for Crocodile," Jerry pointed out.
"Yes Sir. She is Mikita with 7,500,000 Beli," the same agent said.
"A low bounty," Jerry said and added, "You still will face justice."
Jerry ran up to punch Mikita. Mikita dodged the punches. She kicked Jerry. The kick connected and he was hit in the face. Jerry stumbled back.
Other agents pointed their guns at Mikita, they were about to fire when Zala came running towards them. "Stinger Finger," Zala said as he turned her fingers into long spikes. She started to slash the CP agents. She slashed one after another. They all went down.
"That is Zala with 35,000,000 Beli," the agent said.
Jerry looked at the other girl. He ran up towards Zala. "Jerry Aurora Flicker Jab," Jerry said as he sent a flurry of rapid punches towards Zala. They were so fast that it seemed like he had several arms punching. Zala saw this and dodged the attack. Jerry's attack continued and hit his own men. They got pulverised by the punches. They went flying back and landed on the ground.
"Captain Jerry be careful," the agents shouted.
Zala and Mikita grouped up. "He is careless," Mikita said.
"He may be a bit dangerous," Zala added.
Emeraude had run up and used her spear to slash agents down, left and right. She ran through the men taking them down. She approached Zala and Mikita. Emeraude was panting loudly.
"He might be, I can handle the men," Emeraude said.
"I can go after the boxing champion," Zala said.
"I will go inside the base," Mikita said.
At that moment, they saw a huge shadow covering the battlefield. It was immense.
"Why has it gone dark?" asked an agent. They looked up to see a large figure.
"A giant," another agent responded.
"What is one doing here?" Jerry thought.
Mikita, Zala and Emeraude all smiled.
