(Back at the academy)
"Jacob! " Kylie called out to the dark-haired skinny guy as she tried to catch up to him.
When Jacob heard her voice, he didn't even turn. He walked faster trying to get away from her but not wanting it to be obvious.
'She's fucking annoying, ' he thought to himself as he walked even faster. She had already banged on his door three times since he got back and it hadn't even been two hours. He was ignoring her and avoiding her so he wouldn't have to explain why he was back without Eliot and Levi.
Kylie, on the other hand, sensed that Jacob was avoiding her and she wanted answers. She was growing increasingly worried about Eliot and Levi's absence and was already conjuring the worst possible scenario of what had happened.
She ran past the people in the hallway towards Jacob but she lost him in the crowd. She knew he was hiding. Something must have happened. She knew he heard her yelling for him to stop.
