Levi's opponent was stronger and more experienced than he was. It was going to be hard to fight him. As soon as he got the chance, he was going to use his poison bite.

He had consumed a human soul so it had been activated. Before he could even make a game plan about how he was going to beat his opponent, he attacked first.

He formed spikes of ice with the bucket of water that was placed near where he was standing and flung them at Levi.

Levi tried to change into fog to escape the attack but he was too late.

One went through his stomach, another one pierced his arm, and the other one went through his leg. Everyone thought he was going to die soon.

After all, the large spike of ice had gone through his and protruded through the other side. Levi was in shock as he fell to his knees. He had known the stakes were high but he didn't think it would be like this.

[You should have been more careful. Pull the spike out and heal]

His hands went to the spike to remove it but his opponent wasn't having it. He instead used his hands to twist it around so that it cut more places than before.

A black fluid coated the spike as he repeated the action over and over again. Levi screamed in pain and begged for it to stop but his opponent was determined to kill him slowly and painfully.

None of his abilities could save him from the wrath of his opponent. He needed full health and concentration to do them. At the moment, he had none of that.

[You're dying! Do something!]

"What the fuck am I supposed to do?!"

Black blood started coming out of his mouth and his skin started getting pale. He felt his life force slipping away. He really was dying like the system told him.

He thought he was invincible and he was learning that he wasn't in the hardest way possible. He didn't want to die. He had to find a way where there was none.

Just then, an idea popped into his head. To pull it off, he needed to use all the energy he had left.

"Sword."

[Are you sure—]

"I'm dying. Give me the sword. "

The sword appeared in his hand. He used all his strength to fling it across the stage without even aiming. Luckily for him, the odds were in his favor.

The sword sliced his opponent's arm and he fell to the ground screaming. The sword was incredibly sharp so it cut his arm so badly that it was almost disconnecting from his shoulder.

Levi pulled summoned all his strength and slowly pulled out the spike. When it was out, he fell on the ground and his body started healing. He stared at the ceiling thinking about how lucky he was to survive.

He could have sworn he went to hell for a few seconds.

Had that sword missed his opponent, he would be dead. Needing to finish the fight, he got up slowly and dragged his body to where his opponent was lying in a pool of his own blood.

He hovered above his opponent and grabbed his sword. The injured man started begging Levi to spare him. He surrendered and begged for the fight to end. The only thing he was worried about was his arm.

If he didn't get medical assistance soon, he was going to be amputated. What he didn't know however was that the sword had a lethal poison in it. His arm was slowly rotting and the rot was spreading throughout his entire body.

"Even if I spare you, you will still die. The poison in your sword will spread throughout your entire body and kill you slowly and painfully. What you need to be begging for is for me to end your misery quickly. "

Levi smirked and leaned down. He could let the man go and let the poison kill him slowly like he deserved but it would be more beneficial if he consumed his soul and healed his body until it was brand new.

"P-Please—"

"You wanted to kill me. Why should I spare you when you wouldn't do the same if roles were reversed? Rest in pieces. "

He grabbed the man's head, opened his mouth, and called out to his soul. Slowly, the black matter was transferred to his mouth. His eyes turned black for a second before they reverted back to normal.

[Congratulations! You have gained 500 exp!]

Levi was feeling confident and accomplished. All the other guys that had come to fight were all dead and he was the last man standing. He may not have fought them all but he fought the best.

That to him was the best victory ever. He pointed at himself as he faced the instructor and smiled even though he couldn't see it.

"You're looking at your new fighter. "

The instructor clapped and entered the ring. He patted Levi's back and flung his arm around his shoulders.

"Let me show you to your dressing room. I was very impressed with you during your first fight but I'm not gonna lie. I thought you were going to die. "

Levi was quiet even though he had a lot he wanted to say. He was led to his own dressing room where he was asked to settle in.

He didn't have a fight on that day.

The instructor just wanted Levi to ease into his new room. He was also given the option to go and watch the other players fight.

Just as he was observing everything, his dressing room opened and Thyone walked in. Levi's back straightened and he became alert.

"When they told me we had a new fighter I couldn't believe it, " Thyone said.

Levi took deep breaths and convinced himself there was no way Thyone knew it was him.

"Are you finally going to tell who and what you are, Levi?"
