Chapter 49 - The Dark Inferno Dragon's Anomaly

In the Time Chamber, Vince wore a smile on his face, and within the Pale Ancient Serpent's magic core, a stream of pure and abnormal space magic power was transmitted into his body, filling the source of magic power.

Reveling in the thrill of his increased strength, Vince didn't feel the passage of time at all.

Today was the twenty-fifth day, July 10th, from when Vincent entered the ancient ruins.

Kessus came to inquire about the situation in the magic villa as usual, and the Dark Inferno Dragon said impatiently, "The master is in the ancient ruins, it will take a month before he returns, what's the use of being in a hurry?"

"Dax, why didn't you follow Young Master Vince into the Ancient Ruins?" Kessus looked at the Dark Inferno Dragon dead in the face, a strong look of skepticism in his eyes.

Alice and Chrissy had recently realized that something was wrong, and that Vince hadn't been heard from in too long!

"Blackie, what is that bad guy doing in the ancient ruins?"

The Dark Inferno Dragon said impatiently, "I didn't go in, so how do I know what the master is doing in there?"

"Dax, you seem to be hiding something from us!" Clarice's bright eyes looked at Kessus, and without waiting for the Dark Inferno Dragon to answer, Clarice continued, "You should know something, but you don't want to tell us. Is this what Vince ordered?"

The Dark Inferno Dragon glared at her and yelled, "I'm annoyed, get lost all of you!"

Kessus and the two sisters looked at each other and slowly walked out of the enchanted villa.

Outside the magic villa, Kessus began, "There's something wrong with the Dark Inferno Dragon!"

Kris nodded, "That's the obvious question. However, he doesn't have any other behavior other than anxiety. It's really strange!"

"I suspect that something unexpected has happened to young master Vince!" Kessus now somewhat regretted not signing a contract with Vince. If there was a contract between them, then through the contract, they would be able to learn about Vince's general situation.

"Don't worry, based on the performance of the Dark Inferno Dragon, it shouldn't be a big problem. Otherwise, the master-servant contract between them should have been lifted a long time ago, and wouldn't the Dark Inferno Dragon still be beastly?" Chris calmly analyzed.

"Point taken!" Kessus said in agreement.

"The way things are now, we can only wait quietly." Kris ruffled the long hair around her ears, "Your Excellency, please also pay more attention to the construction work of the Miracle City."

Kessus nodded, "Don't worry! Miracle City is my heart and soul, I will definitely take good care of it for Young Master Vince!"

On July 11th, Vince was still in the Time Chamber, with a bigger smile on his face and thick space magic all over his body.

Miracle City, inside the magic villa, the Dark Inferno Dragon, who was lying on the table and sunbathing, suddenly slapped the table to pieces in annoyance, startling Alice and Clarice, who were playing cards.

"Dax, you," Clarice looked at the Dark Inferno Dragon with forced composure. She knew that the Dark Inferno Dragon was a quasi-class Holy Spirit, and if the beast got violent, there was no one within the City of Wonders who could stop him!

The Dark Inferno Dragon didn't even look at Clarice and the girls as it soared into the sky, letting out a long roar and regaining its length of over fifty meters.

Inside the City of Wonders, Kessus watched the Dark Inferno Dragon from afar, a wave of worry rising in his heart as he tightened the Holy Spirit level magic scroll already in his hand.

Dark Inferno Dragon Dax was anxious in his heart, it had been twenty-six days and there was not the slightest news from Vincent, but from the contract, he clearly knew that Vincent's life was not in danger.

  "Roar!"

The pressure of a quasi-order Holy Spirit dispersed in all directions with the roar, and the Dark Inferno Dragon recognized the direction and flew towards the City of Origins.

Seeing the Dark Inferno Dragon leave, both the two Dark Elf sisters and Kesoth let out a deep breath and put down the huge stone in their hearts.

In the small town of Hella, in the mercenary union, President Tucker was all red-faced, smiling and inviting all the mercenaries to drink.

One of the four magical car that the mercenary union had luckily announced landed in Hella Town and was obtained by Binns. However, Binns didn't want to participate in the magic car competition due to his age, so he transferred the magic car to President Tucker!

President Tucker immediately felt hit by a pie and not only paid Binns a million gold coins, but also recognized Binns as his godfather.

Today, the mercenary union routinely bought all the mercenaries a free drink again, and Binns smiled as he sat at the bar and said to Tucker, "Tucker, how's the practice going these days?"

"Godfather, I've been practicing better lately, but I'm just a bit nervous about magic crystal consumption." Tucker was new to Epic Warlord and didn't have too many magic crystals due to being a warrior.

Binns tapped him gently on the shoulder and removed a small black pouch from his magical robes.

"Here's a sixth-order magic crystal stone, enough for you to practice just using it!"

"Thank you Godfather!" Tucker exclaimed, and just as he was about to announce that he was buying everyone another drink for the day, a loud dragon roar came from the sky.

The roar of the dragon spread throughout the town of Hyla, and people on the streets looked up to the sky.

A few moments later, a huge dragon with half-black and half-red scales and a figure of more than fifty meters flew towards the town of Hella.

This giant dragon was none other than the Dark Inferno Dragon Dax!

  "Gargoyles?!"

  "Run!"

  "Help!"

  "What's with the gargoyles?"

Ordinary people on the streets, panicked and scurrying around.

Some low-ranked professionals looked at the Dark Inferno Dragon with pale faces, not moving a muscle. They clearly felt the Holy Spirit pressure and dragon might emanating from the Dark Inferno Dragon.

Feel the despair-inducing gap in strength!

  Escape?

  Does it work!

The entire town of Hella was also a moment away for the Dark Inferno Dragon!

Tucker stood at the entrance of the mercenary union with a respectful expression, bending deeply and saluting, "Honorable Dragon, the town of Hella welcomes your arrival!"

The Dark Inferno Dragon glanced at the Primordial Epic Level Gryphon!

"Little worm, how far is this place from the City of Origins?" The Dark Inferno Dragon had the arrogance of a dragon and the cunning of a human, able to prostrate itself in the face of the strong and to trample on the weak!

The giant dragon clan, likes to call the weak ones little bugs.

Although he was addressed as a little worm, Tucker didn't dare to be angry at all. That Holy Spirit aura on his opponent's body, he had felt the same in the Mercenary General Association!

"Exalted Dragon, the town of Hella is only 500 flywheels away from the City of Origins! If you continue to fly south, you will soon see the City of Origins!"

The Dark Inferno Dragon nodded, then with a flap of its wings, it flew south.

Tucker took a deep breath and was drenched in cold sweat. At the same time, a wave of doubt rose in his heart, what was a Holy Spirit level Dragon Race doing in the City of Origins?

The City of Origins and the Dragon Race have a good relationship, and between each other, there is an alliance concordance, and the Dragon Race generally does not go to the City of Origins.

The speed of the Dark Inferno Dragon exceeded the normal speed of sound, reaching almost fifteen hundred flywheels per hour!

Five hundred flywheels is a mere twenty minutes.

When the Dark Inferno Dragon arrived at the City of Origins, it was just after two o'clock in the afternoon, and most of the students in the quiet academy city were either reading under the shade of the trees or practicing their magic and martial arts skills in the main square.

  "Roar!"

The Dark Inferno Dragon let out a roar out of habit before flying towards the City of Origins.

The loud and clear dragon's roar resounded throughout the City of Origins, and amongst the trainees, there was no lack of insightful people.

On the third large square, one of the green-haired elves turned pale when she heard the dragon's roar and exclaimed, "Dark attribute dragon!"

His exclamation of surprise caused the students around him to ask, "How could a giant dragon come to the City of Origins?"

"Can't tell, hide, this dragon is very powerful!" The green-haired elf pulled up a human woman beside him and quickly ran towards the nearest tutor's office. Obviously he knew that it was safer to follow his mentor!

On the City of Origins magic watchtower, a peak Legendary level magician flew out, blocked in front of the Dark Inferno Dragon, and shouted, "Stop!"

The Dark Inferno Dragon was in a very unhappy mood, Vince had never returned, and seeing that it was about to be the date when the other contract would come into effect, the fire in his heart grew.

"Roll!" The peak of the Legendary Grade, although powerful. However, the gap between it and the Holy Spirit was like a baby and an adult strong man. With a flick of its tail, the Dark Inferno Dragon snapped off this mage's magic shield and smacked him.

This peak Legendary grade magician, spewed out blood violently from his mouth and fell towards the ground.
