Chereads / Legendary Lord of Omnipotence / Chapter 32 - Grant Program

Chapter 32 - Grant Program

On the number three large square, there were at least ten to twenty thousand people gathered. Fortunately, the third large square was large enough, if it was the seventh small square, it would be a tragedy!

Evan stood on the podium with a magic megaphone and said, "Please be quiet! If anyone raises their voice again, they will be disqualified from participating!"

Today's event was organized by both of them after Vince discussed with Evan. Evan gets the fame in the academy, and Vince succeeds in promoting the magic car.

When a total of twenty magical vehicles were built, he kept one special edition Hurricane for himself, four were gifted by the mercenary union's Lucky Announcement, Evan took one, and there were fourteen left in the Endless Air!

These fourteen magical vehicles he all intended to distribute to the trainees in the Magic Martial Academy. Of course, it wasn't unconditionally distributed, but through the academy's sampling system, the trainee numbers were randomly selected.

The academy's lottery system was similar to the mercenary union's lucky announcement, and on the third large square, Evan stood in front of a crystal ball, holding a magical megaphone and yelling, "Students who wish to participate in the drawing of the magical vehicle, please be quiet. Next, we are about to give you the rules!"

At this time, in the third large square, almost 30,000 people had already gathered, all of whom had gone to the arena yesterday. They knew the charm of the Magic Motorsports!

"First, please take out your cadet crystal cards and then input your magic to enter your respective cadet numbers into the crystal ball in front of me."

This crystal ball was engraved with a magic pattern of randomly screening magical information, able to randomly draw among the trainee numbers it contained, just like the random function of computers in the previous world.

While these cadets were entering their cadet numbers, Vince and Allegra brought the Blasted Greedy Wolf to the Third Grand Plaza with a smile on their faces.

Evan waved his hand and waited for Vince to come closer before saying, "Brother Vince, take out the magical vehicle and put it on the stand to open their eyes!"

Vince nodded his head readily, he was here to promote the magic car anyway, so he would do whatever he could to create a stir!

Fourteen streamlined magical vehicles appeared on the booth next to the podium all at once, and the trainees in the room gasped!

Unfortunately, the Blistering Greedy Wolf was also lying on the stand, otherwise, it was not unlikely that these trainees would have done something like robbing them by force.

"Class, is there anyone else who hasn't put their cadet number into the crystal ball?" Evan asked again.

More than 30,000 people were so silent that there was actually no sound other than the sound of breathing, fearing that they would not follow the order and be invited out of the arena.

"Now that all the students have put their cadet numbers into the crystal ball, let's get to the next rule!" Evan took out a parchment scroll and prepared to read from it.

  "Wait!"

Outside the large square on the third, a loud roar interrupted Evan's speech.

Vince looked outside to find hundreds of adults of all ages and sizes approaching.

"Hmm? Mr. Rist?" Evan rubbed his eyes, unsure.

The middle-aged man at the head was Evan's earth magic tutor!

  "What, not welcome?" Rist teased.

A young faculty member behind him yelled, "Little Evan, there's no rule against instructors participating in this activity of yours!"

Evan looked at him bitterly and shook his head, "Mentor Maxwell, this event is not so prescribed!"

This Maxwell was the tutor who taught him the subject of Magical Beast Identification.

"Haha, in that case, we're in!"

"Yes, yes, we want to participate too!" The tutors behind them, yelled.

Evan glanced at Vince and saw that he nodded, so he said, "Then please put your mentor numbers into the crystal ball!"

It only took three minutes for the six hundred or so mentors to put their mentor numbers into the crystal ball.

Maxwell laughed, "Little Evan, we're good over here."

Evan nodded his head, then took the parchment scroll and read, "This event is based on the principle of fairness, fourteen lucky trainees or tutors will be randomly selected, and the trainees or tutors who are drawn will need to pay one million gold coins as the price for receiving the magic motivated vehicle."

"If a trainee is drawn and can't come up with a million gold coins, they can gift their right to a friend! Of course, one can also sell this qualification to someone else!" Evan laughed.

One million gold coins was a lot, but the tutors of the Origin Magic Martial Academy were mostly able to take it out!

So, while the first two sentences say mentee or mentor, there is no need to bring in the mentor in the last sentence.

  "A million gold coins?"

Some of the trainees exclaimed incredulously, and there was a tendency for it to get worse and worse.

Evan exclaimed, "Perhaps you students find it unbelievable, but one million gold coins is only enough for the cost of materials! It doesn't even take into account the production costs, as well as some other extra expenses! As for whether I have exaggerated or not, everyone will know later! If the students who are not willing to participate, we are not forcing them, so please take the initiative to withdraw."

"I'm sure you all know who I am, and I can vouch for that on my honor!" Evan said seriously.

Rist exclaimed, "I trust Prince Evan's character!"

With him leading the way, the mentors have rallied behind Evan.

"Below, I'll stop rambling and get ready to sift through the fourteen lucky ones!" Evan entered a magic seal of '14' into the crystal ball, allowing the magic crystal ball to automatically extract fourteen numbers.

A very transparent milky-white magic shield formed around the magic crystal, and those outside were able to see a string of numbers flashing in the crystal ball.

This magic shield that prevents interference when the crystal ball is randomly drawn. If it is disturbed by an external force, it will emit a strong glow.

  "Ding~!"

The magic crystal ball let out a soft sound, the milky white transparent magic shield slowly dispersed, and a string of numbers floated above the crystal ball.

  15621-0412-059!

  Cadet Number!

In the Origins Magic Martial Academy, the twelve-digit number, was the student number; it was the eleven-digit number that was the instructor number.

The first five digits represent the year of admission; the middle four digits represent the class number; and the last three or two digits represent the sequential number of the trainee or instructor.

15621-0412-059 represents this cadet, enrolled in the year 15621 in Clontia, the 59th cadet assigned to class 0412.

"It's me, it's me!" A teenager with a full head of red hair shouted out, looking at him, he was only fifteen or sixteen years old, but his height was more than one meter eight, and he was carrying a heavy sword on his back, so he should be a Warrior Department student.

"Rory, your purchase qualification, is it for sale?" Next to the red-haired teenager Rory, a white-skinned teenager asked.

Rory disdainfully glanced at him, "It's only a million gold coins, I still can't afford it?"

  "Ding~~!"

There was another soft click, and the magic crystal ball once again displayed a number.

  15615-0211-03!

  Mentor Number!

  I can't believe it's a mentor number!

Out of more than thirty thousand people, only a mere six hundred or so were mentors, and with such a low probability, it actually hit!

"Hahahahaha!" There was a loud, hearty laugh, and Maxwell raised his hands in the air and cheered loudly, "I actually hit it!"

  Evan smiled, "Congratulations Mentor Maxwell!"

"Hmm! Keep drawing, and I hope our mentor's team, wins a few more!" Maxwell said with a streak of red light.

Rist laughed and hammered him, helplessly, "Well you lucky bastard, the evening is on the house at the Miracle Tavern!"

Maxwell nodded his head repeatedly, but laughed bitterly, "Rist old brother, spare me! I've only been in the academy for not many years! With this million gold coins removed, there's no extra money to treat myself at the Miracle Tavern!"

Rist's eyes lit up as he said, "So you're giving me the qualification?"

"Go go go! Rist old man, you wish!" Maxwell waved his hand.

  "Ding~~~Ding~~~~~Ding~~~~~"

The magic crystal kept drawing the lucky list, the winners cheering and the non-winners trying to find ways to get the winner to transfer.

"There's one last chance... Who's the last lucky one? Revealed right away!"

The magical crystal ball flashed a long string of numbers, and after a few moments, a final string of numbers stopped at the top.

  15575-0022-01!

"Huh?" Maxwell suddenly thought the number looked familiar, and then looked over at Rist to find him with a big smile on his face.

"Rist old man, this number seems to be yours!"

Rist punched him in the face, but since he was an earth mage and Maxwell was an earth warrior, his fists couldn't hurt Maxwell at all.

"What do you mean as if! This number, it was me!"

"Ooooohhhhhhhh, then it's on the house at the Miracle Tavern tonight, Risty old man!" Maxwell smiled wickedly.
