Chapter 3 - Magic Scrolls

"Ah! Mr. Mage, why haven't you escaped yet?"

Although somewhat confused as to what Vince meant by that, Allegra looked anxious about the fact that Vince had not escaped.

Standing beside Allegra, Vincent realized that Allegra was very beautiful, light chestnut-colored short-shouldered hair, her face was as beautiful as a flower cat but beautiful, and her pair of soulful eyes, though frightened, did not lose their innocence and naughtiness. The clothes that were scratched by the branches and shrubs of the tree, but also let her have more of a churlish temperament. The slender legs were slightly trembling, obviously suppressed by the seventh level magical beast rank!

"What will you do if I leave?" Vince took a slight step forward and stepped in front of Allegra.

The seventh level magical beast Blizzard Greedy Wolf's head was slightly tilted, sizing him up carefully. It seemed to be somewhat puzzled as to what use such a weak human was for blocking in front of him.

Blocking in front of the Blizzard Greedy Wolf, Vincent, who was merely a Medium Senior Magician, was not the least bit afraid!

The Blast Greedy Wolf looked at Vince in surprise, really not understanding why this weak human in front of him was pleasantly unafraid of it.

  "woo~~~~~ woo~~~~~ woo~~~~~"

Unable to understand, the Blizzard Greedy Wolf took up a stance ready to attack, its chilling claws were so sharp that it could easily claw a human's body into several halves!

"Hmph! A beast is always a beast! Even if it's a rank seven magical beast!" Vince snorted coldly.

Grade 7 Magical Beasts belonged to the high grade Magical Beasts and had already opened up their spiritual intelligence, possessing notable wisdom. Unfortunately, it was still beastly!

The Blizzard Greedy Wolf was able to understand human speech, and when it heard Wen Sen call it an animal, it was even more annoyed. It lunged towards Wen Sen with a violent movement. As it leapt up, it opened its bloody mouth. In its mouth, a rapidly rotating microscopic storm cluster shot towards Wen Sen!

Facing the attack of the seventh level magical beast, Vince took half a step without retreating and took out a magic scroll from the Endless Air, and after stimulating it, a translucent water screen covered him and Allegra.

"Bastard, you should recognize the level 7 magic Water Curtain Guardian, right?" Vince hemmed and hawed, then took out another magic scroll.

This scroll was earthy yellow in color and gave off a heavy magical aura.

  "Seventh level magic, Quagmire!"

The earth-colored scroll turned into a yellow light and shot to the ground. Within a radius of two kilometers, the originally solid ground became muddy, and in the quagmire, a strange gravitational force pulled the Blizzard Greedy Wolf downwards!

  "Woo~~~Woo~~~~"

The Blizzard Greedy Wolf howled twice in a long howl, its four paws generating wind and stepping in the air. It looked at Vince with contempt, a humanized mocking expression appearing on the wolf's face!

"Hey!" Vince didn't pay any attention to Blizzard Greedy Wolf's taunts and took out another fiery red scroll.

"Seventh level magic, Flames of Fury!"

The fiery red scroll transformed into a red light and shot into the sky, and the originally clear sky immediately became crimson. Afterwards, a blazing flame fell from the sky, striking indiscriminately within a two-kilometer radius!

The otherwise lush woods around them disappeared, leaving nothing but scorched earth!

Amidst the dense flames, the Blizzard Greedy Wolf held up an egg-shaped wall of wind, and it was clear that the level seven magic hadn't harmed it!

"Heh heh! Let's see how long you can last!" Vince laughed coldly, then took out another bundle of scrolls from the Endless Air. Not only were there earth and fire scrolls, there were scrolls from every other system!

"Seventh level magic, Spiral Water Gun!"

"Seventh level magic, Extreme Cold Ice Bomb!"

  "Seventh level magic, Cracking Arrow!"

  ............

All sorts of level 7 magic were coming out, and Allegra, who was still surprised, had become numb and just looked at Vince with a monster's eyes.

Level 7 magic scrolls were worth no less than 100,000 gold coins, and in just a few minutes, Vincent had thrown out at least thirty level 7 magic scrolls!

  That's three million gold coins!

An ordinary civilian, comfortably enjoying himself for a year merely needed a thousand gold coins!

Over there, the blasted Blasted Greedy Wolf was very depressed!

A few days ago, its lair was occupied by a mage tower that fell from the sky. It wanted to resist, but the owner of the mage tower was so bullish that it directly scared it into fleeing.

I had planned to come to the edge of the Anherrill Mountains for a break, but I didn't expect to get my left front leg injured again!

One after another unlucky things happened to it, and now it was being bombarded with magic scrolls by a freak who appeared out of nowhere, it even wanted to die!

''Damn it, that's a magic scroll, not a cabbage! It doesn't come with a basket!'' The Blizzard Greedy Wolf wailed in its heart, using magic scrolls so extravagantly, this was different from the humans it knew!

After dropping a large bundle of magic scrolls, Vince didn't see the dumbfounded Allegra behind him, nor did he feel the holding back of the Blizzard Greedy Wolf, and took out another large bundle of scrolls from the Endless Air!

These scrolls were saved from the Magic Martial World back then, where did the Vincent Augustine back then, as a Mythic level powerhouse, need a seventh level magic scroll?

Eyeing Vince as he pulled out another bundle of magic scrolls, Allegra rolled her eyes, apparently having chosen to ignore it.

On the opposite side, the Blasted Greedy Wolf was depressed!

''This guy called me an animal, I think he's the animal!'' The Blasted Greedy Wolf had bitter words to say.

Seeing that Vince was about to start throwing scrolls again, Hurricane Greedy Wolf shouted, "Humans, surrender! Surrender!"

  "What?"

Vince froze, there was no such concept of surrender in the world of magic and martial arts, ah?

"Human, I, surrender, surrender, submit, you, master!" The seventh level magical beast's spiritual wisdom had just been enlightened, and the human language was spoken in a broken manner, but it was good that it was barely able to express its meaning.

"You mean you want to submit to me?" Vince asked tentatively, not lowering the scroll in his hand.

Nowadays, he only had the strength of a mid-level senior magician, so if he could have a fighter, evil servant, minion, bodyguard cum mount equivalent to a Legendary level, it would still be pretty good ah!

"Aye aye aye! I, surrender, submit!" The Blizzard Greedy Wolf dispersed the wall of hurricanes that protected it, and prostrated itself not far from Vince with lowered eyebrows.

''That's quite the attitude!'' Vince pondered in his mind for a while, 'Huh, why did I forget about that thing!'

Vince looked at the well-behaved and docile Blizzard Wolf and hemmed and hawed, laughing so hard that the Blizzard Wolf was so scared that it whimpered and wailed in a low voice.

From the Endless Air, he took out a small finger ring, which was also left over from before.

Light of Contract: The ability to enter into a solid master-slave contract with a magical beast, the highest level of which does not exceed level seven. A magical beast of more than seven levels will sign a contract of equality.

After bringing on the Ring of Contracted Light and activating the ring with magic power, strange magic patterns formed a magic formation that shot towards Blasted Greedy Wolf's forehead.

Taking in the silver might of Vince's scroll, the Blasted Greedy Wolf inexorably allowed the magic array to be imprinted on top of his forehead. When the magic array was fully integrated, an unseen connection in the underworld linked the Blizzard Greedy Wolf and Vince.

A beautiful curved moon-shaped blue magic rune appeared at the forehead of the Blizzard Greedy Wolf, and the Blizzard Greedy Wolf meekly took a few steps forward, prostrated itself at Vince's feet, and curtly arched over Vince's leg with its immense head.
