People look away from them as Marianne and Alice continued to dance. Alice looks up at Marianne with a mixture of sadness and hope in her eyes.
"It's hard, isn't it?" Says Marianne. "To be here, surrounded by people who don't understand you."
Alice nods, and Marianne continues. "But there is still so much beauty to be found, even in the midst of all this."
"How so?" Alice asks, her voice tinges with a hint of skepticism.
"I know what it's like to be judged and hated," Marianne says softly. "I've had my share of scorn and ridicule. But even in the darkest moments, I've found beauty and grace. There is goodness in the world, and it can be found anywhere, even here in this room."
Alice hesitates, and then speaks up. "I've known such pain and rejection, I don't know how to trust that there is anything good left in the world."
"I understand," Marianne replies, "but there is more to the world than the pain we've experienced.
