Chapter 69 - Chapter 69 - Weaknesses

"What kind of monster is this? ..."

kevin could barely control the volume of his voice, he was pretty sure that there was absolutely no such monster among the Resident Evil movie series he had seen!

It seems that the T-virus has indeed undergone an unknown mutation in the middle of this realm!

kevin's slightly enlarged voice immediately aroused the monster's alarm, and his originally squatting body immediately stood up, his thick tail sweeping from time to time.

Jill was so scared that she immediately covered Kevin's mouth and nose, this time she almost used all her strength, as if she wanted to suffocate him alive, one of her fingers had even pressed into his lips!

"This fellow is a blind man in the midst of the darkness, but his hearing is very keen, and any slightest great movement may attract its attention and be locked by it!"

Jill leaned in close to kevin's ear, her voice still weak despite the aggravation, and the hot breath coming out of her mouth made his ears tingle.

kevin had tried to break Jill's arm, but was surprisingly unable to move her arm because of the unfavorable position he was in.

Having no choice but to open his teeth slightly, kevin gave a bite to the finger Jill had pressed into his mouth!

"Hiss!"

Jill ate the pain and let go of the strength in her arms, finally being pulled away by kevin.

"How did you determine that? Just a few seconds ago?"

Resisting the urge to spit, kevin lowered his voice and asked.

"Damn it!"

Jill shook off her kevin-bitten finger and cursed angrily, "Are you a male dog? Hell, you even scratched my shirt!"

Jill cursed, suddenly feeling a coldness under her ribs, then reached out and touched her skin with body heat and glared angrily.

However, in the midst of the darkness, she couldn't see kevin's expression, and she couldn't even look at kevin's body, she could only sense the other party by physical contact.

After a pause, Jill, her anger slightly lessened, replied, "I wasn't sure before, but now I am."

"It only stays where there's light?"

KEVIN wiped his mouth hard a couple times, his eyes going to the creature and not moving a muscle!

"I don't know."

Jill returned it without a word of humor, nagging at kevin for biting himself.

"Ah! Help! ..."

Just as the world around them fell silent, a shrill scream came steeply from downstairs, ending abruptly halfway through!

"Shit!"

The black Peyton's furious voice followed, and the "thud" of the slamming door sounded like a million hoofs stamping on it, as if they were going to break down the flimsy wooden door in the next second!

Both kevin and Jill's faces changed at the same time, their bodies suddenly tightening!

The first reaction, instead of rushing downstairs to check the situation, was to lock his eyes on the monster that was as big as an African bison!

"Whoosh!"

The beast, which had just crouched down, snapped upright, and its thick tail, which was constantly twitching like a rattlesnake, swam around as if it were a sonar radar!

It barely took a second for the biochemical monster to lock onto the source of the sound, its thick tail pointing directly downstairs!

It was estimated that this was still due to the cluttered sound, otherwise with this monster's sensitivity to sound, in just an instant, it would be able to lock the source!

"Ka!"

Gil barely saw the biochemical monster make a move, and a large area of the wooden floorboards under its feet cracked steeply, appearing as a large irregular hole with a diameter of more than a meter!

"Blah blah blah!"

Immediately afterward, he saw this terrifying beast fall down from the broken hole as fiercely as a boulder!

Just because Jill can't see it doesn't mean kevin can't detect it.

Twenty-one points of agility, which already exceeded the limits of the human body, coupled with the twenty points of mental attributes possessed by kevin, made his dynamic vision, strengthened to the point where he could see things that ordinary people could not see!

Before the wooden floor of the second floor broke open a big hole, the strong and unimaginably strong hind limbs of that biochemical monster went through a short and almost imperceptible staging, and then stomped hard on top of the wooden floor which was even tougher than the stone masonry!

Those uncharacteristically strong hind limbs, coupled with huge sharp claws no worse than those of a hunter-killer, made the interval between the two floors, almost instantly, disappear!

This zero distance method of power generation reminded kevin of a national art circulating on the internet - Wing Chun Inch Power!

However, unlike Wing Chun's power generation within an inch of its life, this monster's method of power generation was obviously more skillful and fluid, natural, as if instinctive!

Kevin, who had read the novel extensively, naturally knew the saying that Chinese martial arts originated from animals and were learned by man from nature.

The monster in front of him seemed to confirm this statement.

"Shit!"

Jill suddenly cursed and, gun in both hands, ran toward the bottom of the stairs by the dim light coming through the window!

The biochemical monster's thick tail swept away a pile of woodchip residue from the floor of the second floor in one sweep.

Kevin's gaze froze abruptly, his thick tail momentarily a shadow!

This biochemical monster, actually had the ability to crawl on the ceiling in the same way as the Huntress!

Frozen for a split second, kevin came back to his senses as well, sprinting down the stairs after Jill's back!

Unlike the darkness of the second floor, the living room on the first floor turned on the lighting at the beginning of several people's entry, and the snow-white soft light dispelled the darkness and fear.

After flashing around an abrupt-like corner, the bright soft light caused a pang of discomfort in the pupils of kevin's dark-adjusted eyes.

"Boo!"

Before kevin's eyes could readjust to the light of the place, Jill, who had been first down the stairs, had pulled the trigger on the spot!

A dazzling burst of sparks erupted from Jill's muzzle, and the slug carrying the kinetic energy and blazing temperature of the gunpowder explosion instantly sliced through the air, shattering that light source hanging from the ceiling!

While light can give comfort and dispel the fears that lurk within people, there are times when it brings, among other things, danger, and death!

It must have been the light in the middle of the house that attracted the walkers to break down the door!

And, there's that horrible biochemical monster!

The screams that had come earlier belonged to that Raccoon City Channel 7 anchorwoman, Terry, and KEVIN'S FIRST LOOK TOWARD THE WINDOW SILL WHERE SHE HAD BEEN LEANING UP BEFORE.

At this point, she was powerless to pick up her prized video camera, her hands deadlocked over her throat, but still unable to stop the steady flow of blood!

Through the cracks of her fingers, kevin could clearly see a section of the windpipe that had been bitten off, and scarlet blood was continuously pouring in along the windpipe, causing her eyes to roll upwards while her face continued to pale, revealing large swaths of the whites of her eyes!

The arterial vessels in her neck were bitten open, and a large amount of blood poured into her lungs, causing her to suffocate as she lost blood rapidly without dying immediately, suffering the agony of death!

It was undoubtedly an extremely brutal way to die, and kevin was a bit intolerant of it just by looking at it.

On the windowsill behind the anchorwoman, the body of a zombie dangled helplessly, on its back, with a bullet hole spilling a trace of blood across its brow!

In this walker's mouth, there was still half of a ghastly white windpipe that he hadn't had time to swallow!

The scene was beyond brutal and horrific, the rich stench of blood and corpses sickening, and the camera dripping with Terra's blood was still on, faithfully recording the brutality its owner had experienced!

Apparently, the walker suddenly emerged from the ledge, bit Terry's throat, and then was shot in the head by Peyton.

But the zombie wasn't the only one; outside the house, there were thousands more, hissing, flapping, and hungry for blood and flesh!

The moment the light source in the living room shattered, the biochemical monster hanging from the ceiling instantly attacked!

As Jill had guessed, it was completely blind in the darkness, and could only lock onto a target by sound, or the smell of blood!

The moment it lost its light, the target the beast had originally locked onto was also instantly lost!

There was no hesitation, its simple brain couldn't think at all. Since one target was lost, it naturally locked onto the next one!

Therefore, the biochemical monster's target, naturally, locked onto Terry, the anchorwoman by the window, who was radiating intense blood!

With the shimmering light coming from the window, Terra's body was as visible as the sun compared to the darkness in the living room!
