"The Red Queen's defenses are in place, and she's strengthening them."
Despite his words, Kaplan's fingers were flying, rapidly tapping the keyboard, his face relaxed.
"Speed!"
kevin reached out and slapped him on the back of the head, eliciting a cry of pain from the handsome young man, but had to speed up his hands, leaving a trail of stumps on the keyboard with his ten fingers!
"Done!"
With Kaplan's final knock, the closed door banged open.
Matthew patted Kaplan's shoulder in encouragement, then pointed to the device they had been carrying and said, "Wrap it up for me!"
"And don't you guys hang around, move this console under the door for me."
KEVIN pointed to the console in front of Kalamp and rushed the two dragoon commandos who had their arms crossed under their crotches as if they were bodyguards.
"And don't you guys hang around, move this under the door before you go in."
kevin pointed to Matthew and the others who were loading the equipment.
"Why?"
Kalamp turned around and rubbed the back of his head where he had been hit.
"Want to die or live?"
kevin asked rather sharply in return, and Kalamp was speechless, then fought with the two raiders to move its console.
"Everyone help, this thing is pretty heavy."
The console was so heavy that the three young, strong mercenaries couldn't actually push it yet, and Kalamp had to call for reinforcements.
"Bam!"
Just as a group of nine people all ran to help and began to slowly push the console towards that gate, the previously opened gate, unexpectedly, lost control and slammed right down with a heavy, muffled thud!
"Sure enough ..."
A knowing smirk appeared at the corner of kevin's mouth, and Karanp's console flashed out of control in English!
"What's going on?!"
Kalamp was alarmed, he was sure that he had completely breached the Red Queen's defenses and was not being counter-controlled!
"The Red Queen is a state-of-the-art AI system, work harder to completely breach her defenses! At the very least, take full control of this section of the road!"
KEVIN tapped Kalamp on the shoulder, signaling that the crowd moving the console could stop and rest for a while.
"What the hell is going on?"
Alice, who had lost her memory, stepped out of the crowd and asked her query before Matthew did.
"Like I said, I know a lot more about the Hive than you do, including the Red Queen!"
kevin said, tapping Kalamp on the shoulder, "You do realize what the defense system is for this passageway in front of the Red Queen's mainframe room, don't you?"
"It's ... high-energy-laser.com!"
Kalamp wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, vaguely guessing something.
"That's right, if we were to get a sudden hit from the Red Queen like she just did while we were going through this passage, and then activate this weapon system, guess what would become of us?"
With a hint of a smile, kevin looked over at Alice.
"It will be cut into forty-seven pieces ... No! I've shut down all weapons systems, this can't be ..."
Kalamp's hands flew to fuck with the computer, dismissing kevin's conjecture as he did so, but immediately afterward, he couldn't speak!
"Geez! The Red Queen actually retains a supreme authority with weapon activation! How did it do that!?"
Karanp's words caused everyone to suck in a breath of cold air and shiver in unison, and they could not help but have a feeling of having been robbed of their lives!
Cut into forty-seven pieces by the laser!
It's unnerving to think about!
It's also fortunate that they have kevin as a conductor among them, otherwise ...
Matthew's eyes looking at kevin at this point had gained a bit more conviction and gratitude.
"Thank you, Commander, you saved us."
Matthew thanked kevin sincerely.
"No, it's too early for that."
KEVIN shook his head gently, not that he was trying to play hard to get, but, the real crisis, had yet to come!
In the middle of the hive, there were more than five hundred researchers alone, plus logistics, scientists, support staff, etc., and a conservative estimate of the zombies in it was more than two thousand!
Those of them who carry ammunition can't be killed even with a gunshot to the head!
Unless it's all Barrett series heavy snipers and these guys have the skill to put three or four shots through the head in one shot!
"Well, I promise, there are no more hidden dangers this time!"
Buns sweating, Kalamp turned around, this time speaking with a less relaxed expression, he almost, killed many of his teammates who had spent so much time together!
"Hard work."
KEVIN patted Kalamp on the shoulder and then ordered the crowd to keep pushing the console.
"Be prepared."
With the safety of their own lives at stake, no one dares to be sloppy, even if Karanp is 100% assured that there won't be any more danger.
Still, the mercenaries insisted on pushing one end of the console under the door.
Trust Kalamp? Are you kidding me, the guy just dropped the ball and almost turned them into forty-seven blocks ...
"Don't be discouraged, they're just a little emotional, you're still pretty good."
KEVIN whacked Kalamp on the chest, a silver metal box having appeared in his hand at some point.
"Five-star difficulty, a code that only the best hackers can unlock, try it."
Alice seemed to be impressed with the silver metal box, or rather she was impressed with the type of metal box, frowning in thought.
"Boss, are you sure you're not messing with me?"
Kalamp only looked at the same, and after looking at it, he shone a light on the code with an instrument of some kind, and with a few clicks of his finger, succeeded in unlocking it!
Instant solution!
KEVIN sweats for a moment, noting the combination and taking it back into the Abyssal Ring's storage space before the case is fully opened!
"How did this ... this disappear? Magic? It can't be?"
Karanp stared in amazement at the silver suitcase that had suddenly disappeared from kevin's hand, wide-eyed!
"This is space folding technology, it's quite complicated, you wouldn't understand even if I said it, you just need to know that this box was put away by me."
KEVIN smiled mysteriously, and by now, the group had combined their efforts to move the console under the door, with one end deep inside, so that even if it fell again, there would be enough space stuck out by the console for them to make a quick escape!
"Actually, you don't have to ..."
Karanp was in tears, was it necessary.
Matthew then ordered a few people to walk over to the large door that had been opened with the device that released the high voltage charge. Inside, there was a narrow, dark passageway!
"You stay here."
Matthew reached out to stop the kevin who wanted to enter with him, and then, gun in hand, slowly walked into the dark, narrow passageway.
Suddenly, there was a loud "wow" across the aisle, followed by the lights on the aisle roof and the walls to the left and right, and Matthew, bowed at the waist, not daring to take a single step, looked back to his kalampo.
Kaplan looked down at the screen, almost on the verge of tears, and said, "It's an automatic light, don't worry about it."
Only then did Matthew carefully straighten up, and then took small, exploratory steps forward.
There were scares along the way, this aisle wasn't very long and Matthew soon reached the end before pulling out a cell phone mojo and sticking it to the controller of the door across the way, "Transporter in position."
"Roger!" Kaplan rubbed his hands together, then started tapping the keyboard quickly again, "Running decode."
The code was cracked bit by bit, and once the last number was displayed on the controller at the opposite gate, Kaplan hit the enter key, "Done!"
"With a bang, the closed door slowly opened.
Matthew ducked to the side of the doorway, peering down into the gate one at a time, and after making sure there was no danger, shook his hand toward the aisle opening and said, "Forward."
Alice seemed to remember something, but quickly forgot about it, glanced at kevin, realized that she really didn't see through the man in front of her who was full of mystery, pointed to the equipment, and asked in a very surnamed voice:
"What's that?"
Kaplan looked at it and said, "That's for shutting down the Red Queen, which releases a powerful electrical charge that disrupts the mainframe and causes it to reboot."
With the other three carefully entering as in the original episode, the passageway, was not in the process of getting out of control, and Kalamp had been fully focused on fucking the computer.
