Watching Slade slowly walk away while playing with the blade of grass in his hands, the green blade whistling through the air, the Dryad slowly recalled the memories of the past.
The world was a living hell when she was born.
A battle of the heavens occurred as Heroes of all races fought against the minions of Chaos.
Blood rained from the skies as stars fell and were displaced in the night sky causing meteors of all kinds to hit Axia.
Even now stars fell from the sky onto the world of Axia as the remnants of the battle sent them tumbling down.
But besides that, the battle for the continued preservation of the world and the destruction of it caused various things to be developed.
Not to disparage the heroes of that time, but it really was a desperate time where monsters were everywhere but heroes weren't.
So with the combined efforts of several countries they created homunculi.
Mechanical warriors of steel holding the souls of warriors past their prime or injured beyond repair.
And it was only then that the pressure on the heroes shoulders was lifted albeit the pressure was still there.
Eventually, with the opportunity given to them by the heroes, the Dryads sacrificed themselves to rip Cthulhu apart and turned his various authorities into individual entities.
She glanced at the slowly dissipating body of Skeletron.
Skeletron was an example of it as it was the skeleton of Cthulhu before he became the moon lord.
So having seen not one but three things from the great war now, Celestia felt conflicted.
It went to show that the future was going to be one filled to the brim with strife and chaos and so the homunculus person Slade was going to be involve with the worlds events in the future.
But should she involve him now?
'No, I shouldn't'
Watching Slade play with his arm and get approached by a group carrying a flag with a rose on it, she shook her head.
'Since he's already so strong it won't do any good to restrain him.'
Thinking about the large beam of orange light that gave off a similar feeling to the corruption she felt stifled.
'It would be counterintuitive to do so after all.'
Shaking her head once again, she slowly retreated back to her sisters garden of Eden.
Feeling the roots slowly devour her and put her into a capsule which slithered through the earth.
Celestia silently pondered.
'May the fallen make our future be one without strife for I predict it shall be full of it.'
And unfortunately, her premonition for the future came true.
In the future that is.

'You can do this
'It's only just talking to a man that just killed three bosses, nothing much, just three bosses...'
'AAAGGGH'
Face twitching underneath a guise of calmness, Lucia Rosetta felt incredibly conflicted in her heart as the man slowly approached them while playing with something.
Oh wait, that something was an arm.
Feeling even more stifled at the thought that she might be talking to a psychopath, her face was the complete opposite of her conflicted emotions as it was the epitome of calmness.
Calmness that nearly shattered when she neared him.
'Ugh.... If your going to be a psychopath be an ugly one, why is he so God Damned Hot!?'
Screaming silently in her mind, her golden locks of hair fluttered in the wind contrasting the muddy, battle grounds.
Ignoring her retainers who were fussing over her appearance, the pink dress covering her body was stained with mud as she stared at the handsome face interestedly looking at her.
Staring at the face, Lucia felt even more conflicted as her heart tried to beat out of her chest.
Whether that be out of fear, admiration or frustration or anything else it was a definite that her heart was beating.
A sharp face that seemed uncaring of the worlds matters
And the part which attracted her the most.
Those God damned orange eyes of his.
Gripping her sanity with all of the self control she had left, she restrained herself from taking those beautiful orange eyes for herself.
Staring at the blood, the heady scent of iron overwhelmed her senses as she admired the handsome appearance of a warrior covered in blood slowly making their way to her.
Red scarf fluttering in the wind and bandages soaked in blood, the black shirt he was wearing clung to his skin revealing the developed muscles beneath.
And she wondered what it would look like when that was opened...
She hurriedly shook her head to get rid of the incredibly dangerous thoughts running through her head like a cat after a rat.
Shaking her head and focusing her attention back on the stupidly handsome man covered in lots of blood she opened her mouth.
"Greetings warrior, my name is Lucia Rosetta, princess of the Rosetta kingdom, may I perchance have the honor of knowing your name unknown warrior?"
---
Hearing that Incredibly fancy tone I blinked for a moment and stopped spinning my arm for the sake of the wide eyed people in front of me.
I guess it is rather off putting to see someone playing with their own arm as if it wasn't attached
But nevertheless I answered the Princess of this Rosetta kingdom.
Bowing slightly I spoke "My name is Slade Dara Bridge your highness."
Arm behind me while the other was in the front, the princess in front of me visibly preened up in front of me as her golden eyes seemed to gleam.
Flushing slightly, I felt a tingle at the back of my head as the gaze heading my way made me feel...
Immensely uncomfortable.
Coughing and dismissing that thought as a figment of my imagination I opened my mouth once again.
"Then why did your highness decide to come to me?"
Face turning a different shade of red, she spoke up.
"Sir Slade was it?"
I nodded.
"As you may have heard, our kingdom of Rosetta is having problems with our borders due to the constant attacks by the Antlion races constant proliferation."
'I didn't know that but okay.'
"So as a measure against the ants, we are in the process of enlisting a group of powerful adventurers, mercenaries and warriors from all over Aria to form an elite force."
"And due to your actions of subduing the three boss monsters with nothing but your own power we think that you would be the perfect fit for that team."
"So in other words you want to enlist me into your army of sorts and help you fend off the antlions right? Is that it?"
Pointing at myself, I silently wondered why I should follow the kingdom.
I mean, what would I gain?
"Correct, and to make sure that we can gain your full help we are willing to allow you to take pick of any one item from our treasury."
'A treasury?' Taking a glance at the people besides the princess, although they seemed slightly surprised they weren't incredibly surprised.
So the chances of her lying were incredibly low.
"What do you mean by that."
"It is as I said, you can take any one item from our treasury whether that be one of the extremely rare cure all panacea's, life span prolonging elixirs, dragon slaying weapons, anything that you desire
"So if I'm correct... I can take anything from the treasury right?"
"Half correct, you can only take any one thing from it."
"So if I'm to say I want to take you then you can't deny it right?"
Flushing a deep crimson shade of red, the guards and maids all instantly burst into a flurry of quiet panic.
"I-I what? I mean yes, but what? No?"
Waving them off I chuckled. "I'm just kidding of course, but your saying I can take something on the level of the princess right?"
"Yes? No I mean yes? Yes you can but-"
"So that's the case right? Then I'll follow you."
Smiling brightly I waved for her to lead the way all the while I planned on the things I was to do on the way to that kingdom all the while tactfully ignoring the blushing mess of a princess.
I mean, I was just joking.
Watching her maids fuss over her all the while her guards seemed to tremble underneath my gaze.
But strangely enough
I couldn't get rid of the feeling that whatever place that the Kingdom was fighting in wasn't as simple as I thought.
And when I got there, I could immediately tell that what I was thinking was correct.
