Chapter 111: The Ignored Sayoko
When Yuta arrived, he saw Sayoko lying on the ground, with Belldandy standing beside her.
He quickly ran over and squatted down, asking, "What happened? Are you okay?"
"How could I be okay... I feel terrible..." Sayoko said angrily after Yuta approached, especially infuriated by Belldandy's concerned expression.
Seeing that Sayoko looked injured, Yuta picked her up, saying, "I'll take you to the infirmary. But what happened? Did you fall down by yourself?"
Upon hearing this, Sayoko glanced at Belldandy, contemplating whether to speak ill of her at that moment.
"I got hit by some jerk's ball!" Sayoko yelled in frustration. "It hurts so much… Ah… Yuta, hold me tight."
Having given up on lying, Sayoko still couldn't stand Belldandy and, even while injured, wanted to make things difficult for her.
Yuta didn't overthink the situation; it was typical for a rich girl to make a fuss when she was hurt.
Noticing a soccer ball that had rolled far away nearby, Yuta turned to Belldandy and said, "Belldandy, I'm taking Sayoko to the infirmary. You should come along too."
He didn't feel comfortable leaving Belldandy alone, even if it seemed like Sayoko disliked her.
"Sure, do you need me to help?" Belldandy asked, sensing Sayoko's pain and wanting to assist.
Also, she felt an urge to use her magic when Sayoko looked at her while clinging to Yuta.
"No, it shouldn't be a serious injury," Yuta responded, not wanting Belldandy to use her magic, as it might lead to more complications.
Sayoko, irritated that the two were still ignoring her, tightened her grip around Yuta's neck and said, "Ah… it hurts so much…"
Hearing Sayoko's cries, Yuta immediately carried her towards the infirmary.
After being picked up and in motion, Sayoko secretly glanced back at Belldandy, putting on a confident and friendly smile just for her.
Belldandy saw Sayoko's smile and thought it meant Sayoko's injury had improved, feeling relieved.
Yet, for some reason, Belldandy felt a little unhappy at that moment.
Observing Belldandy's unhappy expression made Sayoko even happier!
As the campus queen, Sayoko wouldn't allow anyone else to steal her spotlight.
Every day, there were at least thirty or even fifty boys who greeted and flattered Sayoko, even with Raika and Kaoruko around.
Raika and Kaoruko had little charm with men and didn't interact well with them, but compared to those two, Sayoko felt she was far superior!
When Sayoko saw Belldandy, she realized this was a different kind of woman compared to Raika.
